Walked on to get a key made for a strong box. The gentleman assisting me not only took his time and informed me that the box in question was manufactured in 1898. He had two keys in the store that would possibly fit. They didn't so he took pictures of the lock, sent it to the Owner who called in less than 45 seconds. They informed me that unfortunately they didn't have such an old key and referred me to another locksmith that could possibly help me. Haven't seen such patience and professionalism in a very long time. Definitely my locksmith of choice.

I had an emergency (to me) when the trunk key got stuck in the latch of my mother's old car and I could not close the trunk. Also, rain was predicted and I really needed the trunk to close. I was frazzled but the lovely locksmiths (after checking) told me they had the parts, what would be done and to give them an hour to an hour and a half. I browsed Hobby Lobby and went back exactly when they said, the car was fixed and ready and I gratefully paid a very reasonable price. I will ALWAYS use these guys for everything from now on, not just copying a key.

They tried their best to help with a new key but were unable to do so for a truck cap. Didnt charge me anything for their efforts. At their suggestion I was able to get duplicate keys from the manufacture. They were able to provider duplicate keys for my Toyota Truck. I would definitely do business with them again. They were courteous and professional. Thank you ABC Lock & Key.

Brought my only key here to be duplicated 6/29/19 1230p. Left it with them to see if they could duplicate it. Came back and the guy at the front who was working with Juan tried to give me back a key that was not my key. When I told him this he started looking for it and couldn't find it. He called Juan and they didn't know where it was. I told them to look where they dispose of their keys, he said they wouldn't have thrown it away, he looked anyways and found it there. I told the guy he had to be more careful with keys because they're his business. He rolled his eyes. I wouldn't trust them again with my keys.

LIFESAVER!! I left my car running with the keys AND my 2 year old inside. ABC came running within 12-13 minutes of me calling and took care of business super fast. The young man was nice and professional. He was so quick I forgot to catch his name. God bless you guys.

This place is SUPER cool! They have such a great store. I had a Chevy truck that another company wanted to charge me $100 for a copy of my key! I thought that was high. I went to ABC and the price was much better and they actually explained to me why its more expensive than a regular key. Super patient and super nice people! This will be my regular lock and key place for as long as I am in El Paso!

Went in to get a key made and programmed. They were incredibly rude and unhelpful. They even threatened to hold me liable if my key corrupted their equipment. Do what? That's like going to a mechanic and being help responsible for the tools breaking while fixing my vehicle. That makes no sense. I will never ever use ABC lock and key nor recommend to my friends and family.Update. These idiots said that my remotes were not compatible. Went to the dealer and programmed without an issue...even got remote start function Very cool.

I was locked out of my house at 8pm on a Monday. What a typical Monday right? Upon checking local locksmiths, I found ABC as a highly rated locksmith. I called and the gentleman, Juan I believe his name was, answered quickly. Quoted a fair price and was at my home in less then 15 minutes! Honor the prices you quote over the phone. I called on Saturday and have it still in my call log and was quoted 35 to program a key. Went in today on Monday and they said its 45 and pretty much called me a liar when I told them the price I was quoted. Took them 5 minutes to program my key. 45 dollars for 5 minutes. What a rip off!

They did the job right and timely but the quote they gave me was $40 to open my truck and $35 to make a key to replace the one I lost the guy opened my truck and said it was $60 for opening the vehicle and $65 if I wanted a key made so that's so $50 difference from the original quote I was given!
