Matt in this place did not know how to schedule a phone appointment. I told him I had time between 12 to 1:30 or 2:30 after the next day whichever works. Matt picked 12. Next day no one shows up at 12 so I called back. He said he did not agree with 12 but just said sometime in the afternoon when the lock fixing guy finished the job. I was not happy that he did not understand what my schedule was and gave me attitude they did not care about business, they only get to it whenever they can and they could not estimate the lock fixing guys job whatsoever. I ended up find some other service provider. This place did not know how to serve customers. Period

Quoted me one price over the phone and then charged my husband a different price. When I called and questioned them, they said they would not honor that price, even though he was in the parking lot, as they had already made the sale. Was trying to support a business that had been established in town for a long time, but do not intend to support CROOKED business owners. Look elsewhere.

Bought a used truck which had some lockable accessories in the bed. Didn't get the key for the accessories when I purchased. Went to Old Town Locksmith to see if they could help. They were able to look up the necessary keys and have me on my way in fifteen minutes (maybe less). When you need a locksmith, you want a shop like this. Support local businesses like this one.

I just called these guys (spoke to the Owner) to cut and program one Honda Element Factory Key. The guy who answered the phone (Owner) said it would be best to use there blank and it would save me money. At this point I just put my Boots on for what was about to come..... Next I asked the guy (Owner) on the other end of the phone why did I need to use his generic blank if I have in my possession a Factory Honda key Blank? He said it a 'computer thing' he stated he has two different computers and if he has to use the other one the price is $200.00 and if I use his it would be $150.00. Well I have news for you Mr. Liar.... I know what is involved in coding the key. I called A-1 Locksmith and spoke to T____S $50.00 and he was happy to program a factory key. Allen's old Town locksmiths has no integrity and will take what they can from you if you don't do your research. Choose who you like for your locksmith work, but this store will certainly get in your pockets more than any other shop within 100 miles.... Allen's Old Town Locksmith is a Terrible place to do business. It really shouldn't be this way. I live here in Lewisville and trust that they will give me a fair and competitive price. Not Here!!!!

Allen was prompt, fairly priced, and professional. He changed the locks on a commercial building we recently leased. Although a couple of the doors have locks that are pretty worn, he did not try to sell me new locks, just made me aware of their condition but they still work.Honest as well as educational. Allen is my choice for locksmith services.

RUDE - Inconsiderate - MEAN! It's NOT Allens Old Town Lock Smith anymore! It's SecureTex Locksmith! THEY SUCK! These people had me waiting for 9 hours after calling on a broke door lock. When I called them back they said they had 'PAYING' Jobs and didn't have time to come over and give me a price on my broke door lock! EXCUSE ME!!!! HOW CAN YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT'S GOING TO BE TILL YOU COME OVER AND SEE THE LOCK????? DUHHHSince the original owner (Allen) passed away this Company has gone from great -- to the WORST LOCKSMITH IN LEWISVILLE! Stay clear and remember --- YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Made an appointment and the day of the service technician, Fred, came to the house at the scheduled time but decided because of his physical condition, he couldn't climb the 7 steps to my front door to let me know he was there. Long story short, when I called to inquire about why he didn't even ring the door bell, he was very short-tempered, using foul language, and before I could express my disappointment and urgent need, he hung-up on me. I called one additional time explaining that I would not be afraid to write this review, and I wanted to give him a chance to redeem himself...and he said, 'I'm fixing to hang up on you again...(and shouted) I can't do the work and I won't do the work!' I'm sorry to leave this review about Old Town Locksmith, but I gave this guy every chance, and he left me 'high and dry' and treated me very rudely. He admitted he should have asked me about the steps before he accepted the job (well, duh). Fred, unfortunately, needs to retire. He no longer cares about his customers. Buyer beware! :(

I called 4 different locksmiths, and Allen was the only one to answer the phone. I locked a room in my house and misplaced the key. Allen showed up within the hour and unlocked door within minutes. I was so grateful. Allen was responsive, fast, and super nice! I will keep his name and number in my contacts list.

-- Bottom line: Great locksmith with reasonable price --I took my car key here to get cut, a task that a mobile locksmith had quoted me over $100. This place cut the key for a small fraction of that (I think it was between $5 and $10). Keep in mind that did not include programming, but still. They did exactly what I asked for and did a great job without charging an extravagant amount or trying to do more than I wanted them to.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! EXTREMELY RUDE MAN (OWNER) ! I called and it was like I was calling his personal phone (No greeting at all). I had to ask if I was calling Locksmith on Mill st, he said yes, and I then stated that I was needing key automotive services for my Ford. Man gave me a price ($245) and stated he couldn't do it till tomorrow (with a hostel voice). I said thank you let me get back to you & he literally just hung up! No okay thank you for calling, no courtesy whatsoever! I then looked at other locksmiths in the lewisville area & well the others don't offer automotive and I didn't want to give this man my service after being so rude. So I looked at his reviews on google and come to find out he is just as rude with others & not only that but is OVERPRICED! I decided to call A1 Locksmith in Carrollton. They said it would be $175 (TOTAL) and THEY COULD DO IT TODAY IN ABOUT 2HRS !

I just called to schedule an emergency repair on my business door. I was not able to lock from the outside. The first time I called, he assumed I was a non profit asking for donations and hung up on me. Honest mistake. I called back and stated I was a customer and needed my lock repaired as his company put in the original lock. He asked when did they supposedly put in the lock. I believe it was a couple of years ago. He immediately said he couldn't get out until the next day. I laughed and asked did he expect me to spend the night as I am unable to lock the door and can't leave. He said I don't care, I still can't come until tomorrow and hung up. Giving the company one last chance, I called back. It immediately went to voice mail. No excuse for the rudness. Would not recommend this place.

Wow, the customer service was GREAT. This guy kicks ass. Not only was he at my car in 10 minutes, he also only ended up only charging me $25 because he pulled the key out of the electronic lock opener I use (I didnt even know it existed) and then took off my door handle to show me the mechanical way to open it. So technically he didnt have to break into my car but he still could have charged me the rate if he wanted too (which is still dirt cheap!). On top of this he jumped my car. Very quick and professional service, no hagggling and rudeness. Highly reccommended!
