For a walmart this location is pretty good. The sanitation is kept up and the customer service is decent. Really easy to get what I need and go. 4 one way aisles out of 5.

Worst experience today! We went to get some Potting Soil and they have it displayed outside. The garden gate was closed we asked if they can come and open it, we waited about 28mins no one came we went all around to get the soil! The soil we wanted was $8.97 when we came back inside to purchase it it came out to $14.77 we asked if someone can double check the price for us because weve seen it at $8.97 so we waited for another 15mins and they finally said no its that price and the lady didnt call anyone to check. Its not the First time theyve had us wait this long for a product to see if its the right price or if its in stock. Its ridiculous and dont have good costumer service.

How do you go to a Walmart supercenter and not have garlic bread? Almost didn't buy a whole cart over it. Then ask deli about it and they have NO IDEA they are out of garlic bread for customers to get. Seriously? Do better

I usually don't have a problem with this walmart but when you ask for assistance and wait 20 mins plus Ask 3 people for help and you dont get help is ridiculous. Wish I can give it 0 stars.

So El Campo Walmart only had two of the tires I needed so I figured I'll check Wharton. So I tried calling numerous times and no answer. I even ask the El Campo employee if they could check and she said if they don't answer me they won't answer them that I would have to drive there. So I drive there and guess what their computer shows they have the tires but they can't find them. So wasted time if they would just answer the dang phone. I'm fed up with both of these stores just answer a dang phone people. This is not the first time this has happened and I'm sure it's not the last.

This is a go to for alot of people it had everything you could ever need, from crafting, fishing, cooking to gaming and other entertainment.I cant complain with a super store like this the only concern I have are about the people, maybe they could be a slight bit more helpful and friendly.

Ok... So I very seldom give bad reviews. But this trip to the Wharton Walmart a very bad departing experience. Everything was going well right up to the point of checking out. You guessed it, ONE checkout lane was open and carts were lined up and overflowing. My own cart was pretty full. But I was ushered to the self-check section. On my way there I jokingly asked I was going to get a discount for checking myself out and bagging my own items. The young girl said, 'No, but I'll do it for you if you can't handle it.'. Yikes! That struck me pretty wrong and I suggested that she needs to change her attitude with me or we're going to have a problem here. At which point she walked away.I'm pretty sure just my purchase today would more than pay for a cashier for the entire day.

Only issue I have is that I DO NOT do self checkout here or anywhere else, so they really need more than one checker during their peak times. Ridiculous when the line stretches back into the jewelry section or into the clothing section. Call more checkers to the front when the lines are long.

The store had almost everything I needed which is why I rated it a 3, my issue was with check-out. I waited in the ONE line with a cashier to check out as self check out had at least 10 people waiting. Once it was my turn, the cashier walked away and didn't return for several minutes. No explanation, no apology. This is why I only shop here when absolutely necessary.

This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to. Usually only one cashier and most of them don't speak to you. The last 2 times I was there I was charged twice for an item. Associates are always busy talking to each other, instead of helping customers. Half the time they don't stock what is considered a staple item. I generally avoid this place, but when I do go, I remember immediately why I avoid this place.

Go prepared with a list. Great place if you like exercise when you forgot something and close to the checkout. You will most frequently get bogged down in remembering something not on your list when you see it. Or.....plan to spend a couple of hours becoming familiar with their stock which then qualifies you to work there.

Been living in Wharton all my life and I really can say ABOUT TIME !Walmart upgrade.today was the shock of my life I usually avoid Walmart all together because they have the same old items no variety at all ! But TODAY I truely can say they upgrading and that make me more then ever happy I dont have to always run to Rosenberg just to look for baby clothes, my plus size clothes and etc other items I could never get here ! Thank u Walmart for finally doing something this made my day today I spent $300 here and thats the most money I ever spent in going into this Walmart in one day ! Thanks again whoever making changes keep doing it the variety of items is AWLESOME
