everyone is always friendly and helpful. the store is organized well -easy access due to products being categorized properly. store workers are always quick to offer assistance if this ol' gal looks confused, which can happen due to there being such a large variety of items available in our country. we are very blessed. in addition, if the store does not carry a particular item or service them, they will offer suggestions as to where you might find what you need. the location is convenient. overall pleasant experience. been living here going on 7 years, and we have visited the store several times. highly recommended.

Rankin's has great people working there and they tend to be very knowledgeable. Occasionally someone at the counter won't know where something is but somebody working there can help. Rankin's has a pretty substantial stock of hardware and boating tools. The prices tend to be on the high side for some items. But they do have good sales. They also carry a lot of seasonal items so when you need Christmas lights, they can help. Not as much variety as a big box store but the hardware is high quality.

Last Sunday the 27th I had to go in a get a smoke detector. It was about 15mins until closing time too. I went through the entire store TWICE looking for what I needed. Mind you FIVE employees were all at the register, and not a single one offered to help me! After 10 mins I finally found what I needed. At the register a snotty older gentleman proceeded to say, ' you're lucky we didn't lock you in for the night!'. Really? Is this what comes down to customer service these days?? I will not be a customer anymore!
