I went down their to get a key for my car copied so I have another key. It took them like 30minutes to an hour but they did a good job and the key works great. Overall they have great customer service and it is a great place to get any lock security supplies that you need.

I went to get my spare key cut there after waiting over a month for a OEM key blank to be sent out from the dealership because they were on backorder and they messed up my key blank while cutting it and swapped it out with one of their cheaper keys.Very disappointing after waiting for so long for the key blank to arrive.

Today we happen to see them fixing another business down from us, and they were on the list to call to fix the stationary lock on our door. We asked if he had time if he could fix it, depending if they were on a schedule, and he said he would come look at it, and fix it if it didnt need any extra parts. Jerry fixed our door today, and he was so nice, and as usual did a GREAT job! We have used these guys several times now, and absolutely recommend them to everyone. Thank you again!

I have to preface what I am about to say. I have lived alone for 20 years. No one has or ever has had a key to my home by me.I contacted this company asking if they had 'NON-PENETRABLE' deadbolt locks. They said of course, Medico make them. I was assured on several occasions within a 2 week period, that no one, but no one could break into Medico deadbolt locks. Well, nearly $3000 later, and my home is still being broken into by a law-enforcement officer. He wirelessly bypasses my wireless garage door opener, drives into my garage, then uses some method of 'picking' the Medico deadbolt lock to enter my home while I am away. He has broken several items inside my home, left things that are not mine in the home, and taken my things that obviously are not his out of the home. I am furious about this. I have talked to the manager/owner of the company and all he would say to me is that I have to contact Medico directly to get any kind of resolution. This is just not right or fair to me. Previously, I have talked with the Sheriff's Office on several occasions only to hear the same response. They cannot or will not do anything because there has been no physical damage of an entrance to my home, thus no law has been broken. So I am forced to live with this stranger entering my home without my permission, breaking things, taking things and leaving things.DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU NO ONE CAN PENETRATE MEDICO DEADBOLT LOCKS.

Professional Lock and Key of Fredericksburg is highly recommended if you ever have the embarrassing need to have a vehicle unlocked because you left the keys inside(!)<UGH> or any other lock/alarm needs. This happened to me this morning at work because I was distracted and left them on the passenger seat while I answered a cell phone call and then clicked the 'lock all doors' option as I exited the vehicle after the call. DOH!Not only did Billy unlock the van but he even gave me a regular key to open the door in the future. I had one digital FOB only but no physical key. Thanks to him, this will never happen again because I will keep that spare key on my work key chain from now on as well as purchase a spare FOB from him soon to keep at home or work. Great customer service!

If they dont have it or can't get it, it probably means that you aren't supposed to have it either (did you take the lock from your gov't job?)I went here because a certain dealership (see other reviews) wanted a dna analysis to make me a car key. These guys know thier trade and do it quickly and inexpensively...and now I have a second set of keys for my wife that likes to leave her keys in the car she takes to work...(haha)
