We were broke down on 95 called around 8 am they replaced an alternater and serpentine belt out and back on the road by 10:30 am. Extremely efficient, polite. I would highly recommend!!! Big thanks to the whole crew!

My dad car broke down in Virginia and he needed to be towed. It was 11pm Sunday night when a attendant at the gas station gave him Mikes card. He called and Mike got up and towed my dads car to his garage. The next morning Mike fixed the car and we were on our way home. Mike is awesome. Thank God for sending us a Guardian Angel.

Stopped for fuel in Emporia Va, went to restart the truck & no start. Acted like weak batteries. After trying several remedies attempts including new battery was looking like a failed starter. Employee's at the local auto parts store gave me some names & #s of mechanics & shops, fate had me call Mikes # at 7:45 am, he answered, I explained the situation. Mike arrived within the hour, assessed the situation & went to work. Starter battery cable bolt gave him a fight but he hung in there & got it apart. Starter installed, truck fired up & I'm back on the road destination Florida. Mike was understanding to my situation, knowledgeable, friendly & a pleasure to have work on my baby. Not to put Mikes business out there but Mike was home in bed under the weather but he still answered the call & came to my rescue. It is very challenging when you are traveling & don't know who to call. I know I'm glad I chose to call Mikes Auto & Truck Repair LLC. If for some crazy reason I'm in this area of VA again & need auto repair. I hope Mike is available. Thanks again Mike! Herb

Mikes Auto and Truck Repair is outstanding!! My son (who is 18) was on his way back to North Carolina, after driving for 4.5 hours he stopped to put fuel in his tank and get back on the road; however, that didn't happen. My son couldn't get the car started once the tank was full. My son called me asking for help, I couldn't do anything other than look for someone near him that might be able to assist. I found Mike's and gave them a call. They had the perfect opportunity to take advantage of a young man who needed to get back to school, but they didn't!! Mikes took the time to check the car make sure it was good to go, and advised my son to replace the battery when he got home, that there shouldn't be any issues with him driving the car back the rest of the way and sent my son on his way. There was no charge for the once over of the car and the advice to change the battery. Truly both OUTSTANDING, IMPRESSIVE and APPRECIATED when you get a someone that is willing to give of their time and expertise without charging!! It is simply awesome to find honest, hardworking, and friendly people when traveling so far from home! Thank you from a grateful father!

I was traveling down to Raleigh from DC and and broke down on I95 just north of Jarrett. We, I, my sister, 4 dogs and a bird:), pulled off into a gas station. An unlikely encounter, a kind gentleman named Crowbar recommended us to Mike.Mike went out of his way to pick us all up, double checking on my creatures as he towed us to his shop. He worked on my car with diligence, honesty, fair prices, and was super attentive to me and my husband as we navigated how to proceed with the repairs. Were eternally grateful! Mike and his crew are outstanding! Thanks again Mike!

I can't say enough good about Mike. Honest, personable, and extremely capable when it comes to dealing with auto repair. My wife and I were on our way to Emerald Isle, NC and had been on the road for about 150 miles when we were interrupted by a spark plug that decided to blow out of the engine. Very early on a Saturday morning. We limped to a 24/7 gas station and called AAA. Driver picked up the car and made several calls to semi local car dealers that said they'd be happy to look at the car mid week... and a couple of places that weren't open on the weekend. Things were looking a bit dismal until Jesse said wait let me call Mike down in Jarrett...If anybody can fix it this is the guy. Sure enough he called Mike and we brought the car to him...professional diagnosis and a precision repair had us on our way in two and a half to three hours! We made it to our destination thanks to Mike's help. We appreciate the work he did and the manner in which it was done. Stupid little Google review doesn't do him justice. A little off the beaten path but if you need a top notch auto or truck tech - find this man. It'll be worth it.Bill

Mike's saved us! Great service, fair price! Our car died on the interstate with four kids in the car, loaded down coming home from the beach. Mike scooped us up, helped us find a hotel, put a new fuel pump in, got us back on the road - all on a Saturday-Sunday. Simply great customer service, job well done, fair price. Our family will forever be grateful to Mike's. Surely must be the best ever, anywhere.

Mike is a life saver!! We were stuck at a gas station 6 hours away from home (in VA) with two kids and he went above and beyond to help us. He tried to fix the car right at the gas station but it wasn't possible so he towed it to his shop and made sure that we were safe at a hotel. He stayed in contact with me and kept me posted about my car and by 10am my car was fixed. This man is not only a great machanic but a great person with a big heart. He could have easily said that he couldn't help us because it was 4am and he was with a family member (he only pulled up at the gas station to get gas) but instead he did everything in his power to help my family and I. I 100% recommend Mike and I can't Express myself enough when I say he is a great person and business owner. He was also very fair when he charged us (2 females and 2 kids) other people would have tried to take advantage of us. Mike thank you 100x for helping us and going out of your way like you did! It was late on a Saturday night. The mosquitos were attacking as AAA drove away after a jumpstart. I need a battery right now. So out comes Google to find me a 24 hour repair in Jarrett, VA. Look and behold Google spits up Mike's name and number. He ordered a.battery for me even asked his busy wife to pick it up. I was back on the road in 30 minutes.Now comes the really funny part. I stop for gas 130-ish miles away and I have no wallet. I called Mike sure enough it is there. I sold my soul to the devil for gas money and headed back. 1 am I'm picking up my wallet.Good, competence mechanic and very honest.He is fantastic. If you need a mechanic in that area of VA, call him. You won't be disappointed

My truck broke down late on a Saturday, alternator went bad. Mike gave me the number of a tow company that was reasonable and had them drop us off at a hotel for the night he had the part ordered and my truck fixed the next morning he came and picked me up from the hotel when he was done. He went above and beyond what I expected and I'm extremely grateful.

Mike is the best his company deserves way more than 5 stars. My bus was broken down in VA. Mike came to my rescue within 30 minutes and fixed the bus. The next day i called Mike to ask him a question he was so professional.If your bus or truck breaks down please call Mike he is the BEST.

I had a blowout on a camper which runs an odd sized 10 ply tire after normal business hours on a holiday weekend. I had just blown one other tire, limped to a tire shop. They replaced the blowout and I left an 2 hours before this incident. Come to find out, my tires were dryrotted. The other tire shop didn't notice, and sent me down the road. Not only was Mike able to find THREE and do a roadside repair, he had me going in only two hours from the time it blew. I called Love's and they told me that it would be impossible to find someone to fix me, but to give Mike a call. All that and the price was reasonable (especially for the circumstances)
