It was great that they came out in 30mins and got the lock opened and replaced in a timely manner. Lower rating is because of the amounts they charged -they quoted $29.95 service charge and $45 per lock for opening it. However when the guy shows up he says that the labor charge is $150. Since the handles were not working he said he could replace it and he charged me $120 for the door handles with just one key. If they had been upfront about the cost when I called and replacement was a new handle that he just opened from a box with multiple keys then I would consider them more trustable. However in my book they are not trustworthy!

We had these guys over the house today to install a brand new lock on our front & back door. We live in a pretty affluent area, but every once in a while there are crimes, and recently we found out someone managed to wiggle their key into our keyhole without even 'breaking in' so we had them come over to help us install a more secure lock & key system.

Started out great but ended in a nightmare. Called the number and the guy who answered was both polite and professional. Explained that I was supervising the remodel of my brother's Bellevue home and needed someone to come out and install a new deadbolt on a front door that was original in 1962 (we already had the lock). The guy assured us this would be no problem, had flexible times and gave us the quote range. Two hours later I get an abrupt call from someone that doesn't speak English as their first (or second?) language. They do not identify themselves but demand to know if we ordered a locksmith. Since I had called several companies, I did not know who this guy was. Finally, he identified that he was trying to reach my brother to confirm appointment time. That was fine and a time was agreed to eventually after some additional confusion on the part of the caller, who again seemed to lack basic phone manners. In time the locksmith showed up and immediately said (in heavily accented English that was barely understandable), that they would NOT install the lock we had already purchased but instead must purchase from him a lock at a price far outside of that which was quoted. When that was refused, he demanded payment for his visit. He was paid $20 and asked to leave. I have no problem working with and hiring people who do not originate in our country. I do have a problem with people, no matter where they come from who are not polite and professional, as was the first person I spoke to and who was again excellent when I called back to complain. Too bad - what a terrible example for this company.

My only qualm is that I wasnt able to have them come to my house immediately because they were quite full in capacity at the time that I called. The good thing, though, is that they were able to come the same day - actually followed up with me to make sure I was still interested - and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. Theres obviously a reason why these guys are doing so well.

Perhaps Im not necessarily the guy who leaves a lot of feedback, but when someone does such an extraordinary job, I feel compelled to give them some kudos online. These men were by far a different species so to speak when it comes to customer service. You rarely get great service these days. But these men were both enthusiastic about their job, and took my concerns seriously. I seriously found them to be of exceptional quality - personally and professionally.
