I've been here several times, with different locks that had no keys. I dropped them off, they told me it would be a few days. And, I have always had a phone call the next day telling me my locks are done. Fair price and quick work. I would definitely recommend Bob's Lock and Safe to anyone.

Five dollars was a little steep for a simple, all metal, dual cut key for later model chevy, but considering my proximity and reimbursement, it was quick and on my way.

Lost the key to my car and they assured me they could come and make a new copy and program a new key for around 100$. The next day I get call saying they have to make another trip and bring a special machine to program it now and I'm gonna have to pay them another 100$ on top of it for them to drive 5 minutes open and close a door and say they need this other machine now. They look for any way and any excuse they can to cheat you out of your money

Have had two very positive experiences in the last two years. Called them to rekey a new house. They came promptly and found that we had a special door that couldnt easily be rekeyed so we changed our mind and they didnt charge for the service call and told us who we should contact about the door.Had them rekey another house and they came the next day, did the locks and keys in half an hour and charged less than their estimate.

Absolutely ridiculous. I called around, American Lock and key was closed & the Turbo place was no longer in business. This was the only place open at 10pm. Being that this store was located on LaCrosse street and it's 24hrs( I was at the SS Wal-Mart) I didn't think anything of it being outrageous prices. ( I have health problems that mimics Alzheimer's, this happens a lot to me.) Gave the man a $100 dollar bill and he gives me $20 back. Had I known that, I would have rather walled home in the rain and sleet and saved that $ for my medications. This may be petty to some but it's outrageous to me. Yes I should have asked first but I wasn't expecting to get over priced in the first place. Lesson learned to never use them again.. && the guy on the phone was definitely rude & he didn't care.

locked my keys in my car on wtc campus. walked over the guy said the driver was out and wont be back for a little over an hour so i said ok. i called him an hour and a half later to make sure he had my number right and he said that the driver was still out. when the driver finally came it took ten min to unlock my car. so all in all it cost me $40 and 2 and half hours of my time. (mid way through i called American lock they would have been 30 min and $45).

The man who answered the phone was very short and rude. He called me an idiot for locking my keys in my car then said that someone will be there to help me shortly. It took almost an hour for the locksmith to arrive and then he said that I needed to pay him in cash and it would be $60 (I was told it would be $50 over the phone). At this point I was extremely frustrated and ready to go home and said that he could follow me to Kwiktrip and I would get the money for him. He followed me right on my tail to Kwiktrip and parked me in. I gave him the money and he took about 10 min filling out paperwork in his car leaving me boxed in
