My Honda key fob split in half, which Ive read is a common occurrence. I bought a dummy key on Amazon, put the old chip in the new key, and they cut it for $30-40ish. Finding someone to cut this key was like pulling teeth with me driving/calling several locksmiths (a few told me they could on the phone, only to quickly turn me away). BLK turned on the machine and after it warming up I was out the door in 10 mins.

Nice enough people. Pricing is terrible. My fault though, I didn't ask the cost before having them cut a key blank I brought them for my car. Cost $98 just to cut a blank. Didn't include the blank because I brought my own or programming. I paid it because I didn't ask first. Won't happen again. The key worked. The dealership only wanted $60 for the blank and the cutting.

We had to have multiple locks with the same key but the lock had to be sized to fit our lock box at work! Guys down here said yeah sure we got that! I said certain lock he said ' Yep Number 5 is what you need' I said I need 8 he said 'Yep waitin for Ya at the desk'. I went to 1 and called 3 before I got here! Just come Straight Here save your time/gas and effort! They have your Lock and Key Needs! Thanks Guys

Had two Pella storm door locks re-keyed while I waited. The big hardware store guy made an attempt first but just couldn't get it done. Daniel at Birmingham Lock and Key had it done in about 20 min. The difference? Knowledge and experience. It was worth the short drive to have it taken care of by a professional in the industry.

The folks on the phone were super friendly. They were unexpectedly late to my appointment. I ended up being the last one of the day. I had a door knob that was sticking. The tech arrived and clearly did not want to do any work. He played with the handle a couple of times and told me to throw it out. He told me the deadbolt and handle would run about $400. I pointed out to him that the deadbolt was fine and that the handle was the issue. He charged me $70 for absolutely nothing. After he left, I opened the handle and fixed the problem myself. It took me 20 mins. The folks I spoke to on the phone seemed friendly and great. The tech who showed up wanted to go home. Simple as that.

No one in the world could get this lock off but CODY. CODY is a Birmingham Lock & Key burglar. He was here on time and very professional and personable. He went in and I decided to sit in the car while he worked his magic by the time I got in the car and shut the door he was at my window lock in hand. ( NO EXAGGERATION) Took about 2 minutes. Stoped by Birmingham Lock & Key today. I had one emergency key cut and one fob for 2019 Chevy Sonic. Mike was the person who this task on. After several attempts with a computer no luck. So he programed both of my fobs old school. Everthing took this time and worked perfect. Mike had patience with my Chevrolet till all was right. He was the only man working on the counter. Even with all the other customers coming in Mike work digitally on my problem and serve everyone else. The price was very good. I am a happy camper.
