Great service as always! Was originally told it would be $255 for my truck key to be made. Service technician comes out and said it didn't take as long as he thought it would and charged $200. I can't say enough about the friendly and honest service from these guys. Highly recommend!

Been my 'go-to' lock master since 1990. The previous owner was great but these new owners have really upgraded every facet of the business. The location is great, the store is very roomy and very very well kept. Lots of key and lock related items. Some very old and interesting antique safes can be views. The are several employees that are very friendly and helpful. I called on a Saturday and found that the store is closed on weekends but they will do emergency jobs like unlock your auto. These are the folks you want to install heavy duty locks at your home or business. Or fix the fob for Lexus.

I hired Security Lock & Key to re-key three doors at my dad's house. Coming from out of town, I was able to make an appointment over the phone. I arrived early, and called to ask if we could move the appointment time up. The gentlemen on the phone was very nice and was able to send someone within a couple of hours.My assigned locksmith later called me to verify the appointment, and arrived right on time. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and completed the job quickly.I am extremely impressed with the level of service I received both on the phone and in person. Thank you!

Great staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. I called to ask a question about an old Yale lock I was refurbishing. Knew exactly what I was speaking of and answered my questions despite I not pertaining to a sale. They make a quality copy of your key, and reasonable prices compared to other services from competitors.

I had a situation where I was locked out of my truck's gas tank due to losing the gas cap key. I had driven into Florence, AL for work and didn't realize the gas cap cylindrical key was missing until I had just about ran out of gas. I made it to Security Lock & Key and they got me into my gas tank and made me a spare key for a very inexpensive price. Then the locksmith who helped me followed me to the nearest gas station to make sure that I made it without running out of gas. That was going above and beyond for service. I really really appreciate these guys. Great place, and friendly people. They saved my life that rainy day.

12/22/2017 - Called Security Lock & Key for assistance after I locked my keys in my car. The person that answered the phone literally sounded angry and put out, like I was asking for a favor, rather than trying to give them business. He was very rude and very unprofessional. So, I called one of their competitors, A Able Auto Key & Lock Out Service, in Florence, AL and they responded quickly, politely and for a fair price.I will not contact Security Lock & Key for any future business.

They were amazing! Came out fast and fixed the lock! They were able to get the key out,where someone broke the key off in the lock! Completely saved the day! It was at 1am as well! I would highly recommend they to anyone!!!!

I don't normally write reviews but this is bugging me and this is the experience I had dealing with this company. I started to call back and cancel and the only reason I didn't is because the tech got to the location so quick. The tech was really nice, and professional. The boss who answered the phone is a jerk! So if you have already worked 14 hours and had a terrible day on top of locking your keys in the car, call somebody else. Will I ever use them again? No, probably not.
