The service was exceptional and professional. After dropping off my compromised briefcase lock at 7am, I was called less than 10mins later to retrieve it. Unable to make it back, I returned the following morning just after 7am. My lock was opened and delivered with a complimentary smile. We were in a pickle out of town and our dog sitter was suddenly locked out of the house when our garage pad stopped working. Brooks arrived promptly and put this stressed out dog moms worries to rest so I did not have to worry about how I was going to let someone in my house when I was 8 hrs away. I appreciate their promptness and quick communication with me. Would recommend this company!

Needed copies of house keys made and they did them quickly and perfectly. The real win was for a vintage 1950's jukebox we have. The people that did the repair/restoration told me that we couldn't get copies made and we were down to one key.Well - Brooks had the blank from the old key type (along with many more on the wall) and made copies for the jukebox for me. Very pleased to be able to get the copies made!

My son bought a new house in Huntsville.we called the gentleman they were here the day they said at the time they said . done within an hour or so re-keyed four locks instead of buying new ones and it cost a lot less and everything works great. Would highly recommend this business.

Never going back, Terrible customer service, rude employees.. I went in Brooks to have copies of keys made for work. The sign on the door says they close at 5, I showed up at apx 3:50. No one in sight, I waited for about 5 mins, some rude guy shows up and asked what I wanted. When I tell him copies his reply was I hope you dont need many I said why He replied they were closing. I reminded him the sign on the door says 5. Got my keys never to return.

The 24/7 tech on 8/10/19 was rude and disrespectful. He stated he was in Muscle Shoals, Alabama vacationing and in so many words it was an inconvenience for him to drive all the way back to Huntsville, Al. In a very disrespectful tone he said I will charge you $250 to make a copy of one key. He was so unprofessional. Do not give your business to unprofessional and disrespectful owners or employees. This business was referred to me by Bentley Hyundai. I shared my experience with Service Manager. On 8/19/19 the owner called me to apologize for my experience. He reassured me that is not how he want his customers to be treated. He also stated he address the employee about providing alternative options since he was not close by. I expressed no options were offered. I expressed customer service is very important and treating customers with respect goes a long way. Potentially having a repeat customer. It appeared the owner was genuine and concerned about my customer service experience.

Called the 24 hour service line three times and got no answer. I was locked out of my residence so had to call another company that was located further from the my location. If your not doing 24 hour service then it shouldn't be listed that you are.

After a recent trip,...I discovered that TSA inspected my luggage and unfortunately left the lock physically attached to the luggage in the open position. After contacting Samsonite, I was informed that I would need to get TSA to get it unstuck. After some thought, I figured instead of trying to get TSA to get it unstuck, I could try a local locksmith. Fortunately, Tim provided a listening ear,...and took the extra effort to contacting someone who may have additional information regarding this type of situation. Although it is something that he could not fix,..he did provide guidance that may help,...and it did not cost me a dime! THANK YOU TIM!!!Art

We needed a new key fob added for a newly purchased (used) Mazda 2016 CX-5 that our daughter will be driving. We had a working key fob and one that was provided when we bought the car but wasn't programmed. (I couldn't risk having on one working key fob.) The local dealership charges $120 to add a key fob. I called Brook's and the gentleman said he thought they could do it and it would be a $75 charge. I went to their place of business and was greeted with friendliness when I walked in the door. The gentleman took both my key fobs, his equipment, went to the car and started to work. I sat in the passenger's side while he worked. He was finished in about 10 minutes. The software/hardware used to do this I know is expensive and the guy was very professional. Both of these reasons is why I was fine with paying $75, in what I believe is reasonable. Thanks Brook's Lock and Key!

I needed a key made for my truck. I supplied them with the blank and they had it it made in less than 3 minutes. Thats not why I gave them 5 stars though. They greeted me when I walked in the door. Listened to what I needed and did not question me like a couple of other places had. I just had a blank key I bought that I needed to have made to match my truck. They verified that I was the owner of the vehicle and said Sure, no problem I appreciated having to show proof of ownership- knowing that made me feel secure in my choice.They came out, verified the key worked out and it was one of the easiest transactions Ive ever had.I always recommend Brookss- this is just one of the many reasons why

I had to have 11 locks re-keyed and the gentleman that did the work was not only a nice person but he was an absolute machine. I cannot remember being this impressed with someone's work ethic in quite a while.

I had three problems with these guys:They told me they'd call after their 9am appointment to notify that they were coming to my house next. They didn't arrive until after 5pm. When a door was coming off its hinge the tech said 'No problem, I'll grab some screws from the truck.' 2 minutes later the hinge was fixed. No mention of a charge whatsoever. It just seemed like he was being a good person. I don't mind paying for a service whatsoever, but I'd like to know that your act of kindness is really just a price gouge in disguise before I have to pay for it before it's too late. Their CC machine wasn't working. However, the man in the office confirmed over the phone that I could pay via CC over the phone. What was their solution? Force my friend to drive to the ATM to go get cash. Does that sound professional? It isn't whatsoever. They wouldn't have it any other way, even though it was THEIR problem and THEIR fault that their crap isn't together. Don't use these guys. They're expensive, rude and somewhat shady.

If I could give less than one star I would. Made an appointment for the technician to come to my residence today and was told that a technician would contact me between the hours of 12:00 and 5:00. Wasted a whole afternoon waiting. No one arrived between the appointed times and no one even had the common courtesy to drop me a call to let me know they would not be here. Highly unprofessional and rude. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Quick and professional. Called on a Friday night, and he was here and had us in our house within 15 minutes. He isn't talkative but we don't care; he did his job quickly and efficiently. We'd call him again.

Locked my keys in the shop with pet inside and All lights on. Called this business at 10pm ask for help had cash. Tommy answered didn't want to come at night. Asked me to wait till 8am. I said ok called him starting at 7 am and no answer. Called 4 more times and never answered. Waited till 10am nothing. Called unlock it for Me. Man showed 20 min did the job. I will never call Brooks again they lie to you and leave you stranded. This is poor service I could of had it done same night but I waited for Tommy, never again. Don't use them.

Was quoted a price of a dollar a side to get some key blanks cut. After driving all the way out there price changed to $25 a key. Neighborhood they're in is not the safest in Huntsville.

I walked in to get some keys made, stood at the counter and waited for the employee to greet me. I let her finish her text, she never made eye contact with me. She was literally five feet away from me, I attempted to talk to her and the phone rang and she answered the phone and didn't ever recognize that I was in the store. So I walked out thinking that she would try to stop me but she didn't. Don't use this business, they obviously have enough business. They do not need yours.

Their websites states they do key replacements and when I called the rude man on the phone told me they didn't. I called back just to confirm ( because again it's on their website) and the same guy was so ugly. Basically told me to not call again because they don't do that. Well my suggestion is to update your website to what it is you actually can do and not be so rude to people who call in.
