Called a Saturday night around 8 or 9 pm needing a car key...here from out of state, and key lost.... response was supposed to be 30 minutes to an hour... Nothing called back.... Was to receive a call... Nothing...... Took a friend home... Next day called again..... giving benefit of doubt....still played around with.......... Not satisfied or happy...lied to for two days..... SMH... expect better from M.O.B. people... Love the area... But through with Pop a lock company world wide

Poor customer service very rude people. I called at 2:02 on Saturday afternoon I was told someone would call me back shortly. I called back 50 minutes later the woman I talked to was rude and said they'll call me back at the earliest convince. Some guy called me back told me to call back Monday and come down to the shop. I've done buiesness with this company before but never again.

Called at 8:46pm lady told me that someone would be there in 45 minutes. It has now been 2 hrs and still no one. Tried calling number back and goes straight to voicemail. Will be sure to tell anyone in need of a locksmith to never use them.

Very responsive and answered the phone when others didn't. Gave me a quote of $75 to get us into our locked house and stuck to it with no hidden fees or charges. Sent us a reputable company. My reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 us that they told us they'd be here in 45 minutes and it was closer to 2 hours. However I would definitely call them again if I ever find myself locked out again.

I called to have my car unlocked, the dispatcher asked for all my information, and told me it would be 25-40 minutes until someone came. The dispatcher told me it would be $54.95 exact, and she even said that was taxes and all.I made sure to have her repeat the price so it was clear. When the locksmith called, he told me a price of $70. I called the company back to see why they told me two different prices, this dispatcher put me on hold for 10 minutes just to inform me that she talked to the other dispatcher and that that lady NEVER gave me a price, and that if I still needed their assistance it would now be $75. Poor customer service.

I specified that my keys were in the trunk of my 2016 Hyaundai Sonata. Pop A Lock contracted someone from Discount Locksmith to come out, however he was able to open my car, but not my trunk, which I specifically stated when I called. I was still charged $55 for him opening my car door, and had to pay another $95 and wait another hour and a half more, out in the cold, for another locksmith. If they knew they did not have trunk opening capabilities they should have referred me to someone else. I even called the company directly that they used before calling them and they told me that they were not able to open trunks... so when pop a lock reached out to a third party they should have let them know it was my trunk I needed to get into not my car. Highly frustrated that I paid for a service which they did not provide. True he opened my car but I still was not able to get my keys!!!

Terrible. Never showed up. When i called to ask why the operator told me that it was reported that my services was complete. I told her i been waiting for 45. Never got that call someone was in route. Than the lady told me she was going to send someone back out but it was gonna be $10 more because now it was consider after hours. So they wanted to charge me $70 to get my door open...never again

Do not ever call this company. I called at 6:45 or so on a Friday evening and was told that someone would be there in 35-40 minutes. I was asked for a contact number and told the dispatcher that my phone was in my apartment along with my keys. I explained exactly where I was located, and she again stated that someone would be there in 35-40 minutes. An hour and a half later they still had not arrived. I contacted my son and he called them, and they explained that the call had been cancelled due to no contact number. They said they would have someone there in 35-40 minutes. They still had not arrive an hour later so my son called them back and they said they would be there. Approximately 20 minutes later they called him back and said they wouldnt be able to be there until 8am on Saturday. I called another locksmith and they were there in 10 minutes. On Monday I called hoping to speak with the manager and was routed to a dispatcher who gave me a number of a local locksmith that wasnt even PopALock. He said that PopALock was just a referral service that adds cost to the service for their referral and he was not associated with them in any other way. They take no responsibility for their incompetence. If you need a locksmith call a local one not PopALock.

I got a quote for minimum 125$ from a popalock locksmith. I thought what he was telling me wasnt correct . I called Imperial locksmith got quote of 40$ a big difference. When you call popalock they only give you a first name no badge numbers or anyway report a problem. I couldnt get a manager. If you can use someone else I highly recommend it.

The pop a lock worker Johnny was amazing! My husband mistakenly locked our car door and we dont have an unlocked key for it. It was very difficult because of issues with the car but Johnny came thought it through and with unfailing hard work got it unlocked. Thanks so much Johnny! Thanks Pop A Lock!

I call pop a lock to open the door on my car.When the technician arrived it was not a pop a lock employee it was an outside contractor with his girlfriend. They made me pay before they touched my car and was not able to open it. Now I'm wait for someone to call me back about a refund. Feels like I'm getting taken advantage of. Your response is false you sent out discount locksmith on 11/14/19 and they did not open my door and i haven't heard back from anyone concerning my refund

Called this company because my 9yr old locked us out of our house on accident. Robert/Ricky showed up eventually in a Discount Locksmith truck. He was terrible. Could not unlock a standard door lock. But honestly he was not even trying. I have complained and have video and photos that show he tried to jab and phillips head screw driver into my door. A manager never called me back but he did have the nerve to text me and ask for the photos. Do not let this guy on your property. Wish I could attach my photos and video to this review.

This business is right around the corner from my house and I constantly see their company car in the neighborhood. My friend were at a gas station right around ther corner from my house. When I called they said they did not have a person in the area to send to us. I didnt help that the call person was extremely rude, however Im glad to take my business elsewhere.

I called today at 540 was quoted 30-45 minutes . 630 pm came with technician on site so I called back and was informed my technician went to another call instead of mine and would be another 45 minutes at best . This is not the first time this has happened with this company . I do not recommend them at all . Horrible customer service and communication ! It would have been different if they would have called and informed me or quoted me 1.5 hr til we get to you but this is not the case. I will never use them again. I called another company and had a tech on site within 4 minutes and was driving home in 30 minutes with a spare key made as well .

Prompt arrival, however the guy couldnt unlock the door to my house after working on it for almost an hour. It was a standard residential door lock. Had to call another locksmith. He left mad because he couldnt open the door and lost a service call fee..... maybe this isnt the right line of work for him.

He arrived at the time he said he would and did the work in good time. I was very happy with his work. I will use this company again

My insurance sent Pop-A-Lock to unlock the car for my daughter. They had a estimated time of arrival within 45 minutes. The driver called me and asked for the actual location and my daughter's phone number. I gave him the location and I also explained that her keys and phone is locked in the car. He replied 'She ain't going nowhere!' He then arrived 45 minutes after the ETA schedule time. My daughter stated he looked as if he was under the influence. SMH. Some people don't deserve to be employed. I recommend the use of another local business for more reliable service.

If I could give zero stars I would!!!!!!!!!! My insurance agency called POP A LOCK at 5pm.... they never showed up period. I did not get phone call from the technician. I called Pop A Lock THREE times and they never got in touch with the technician I waited 4 hours!!!!!! I then called my insurance agent they sent out another technician who was there in 45 minutes!!! This was uncalled for...I was stranded for 4 hours by myself... Du'ALL called got my exact location and unlocked my car within 45 minutes of my agency calling them!

There were lots of locksmiths to choose from, but Pop-A-Lock had some great reviews, and I found out why: the locksmith came when he said he would, did what I asked very quickly and professionally, and had some friendly and useful tips for this newcomer in town. Before I knew it I had all five locks re-keyed, felt safer knowing I had the only key, and eliminated a wad of keys from my pocket. Way to go, Pop-A-Lock!!!

Call ID 11622 I called Pop - A - Lock early on a Saturday Morning, locking my purse/money/keys inside my automobile. The lady on the other end of the said it would be up to 45 minutes before help would arrive, but they were on their way. Within 15 mins Curtis showed! Within 30 second he had my automobile UNLOCKED! Very professional, very nice - and would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone!

I made quite a negative review before all the facts were known. Apparently there were some phone scammers posing as them. It was an unfortunate situation but Pop-A-Lock was great when it came to getting to the bottom of things. I hate that they're having to deal with people ruining their reputation as well as endangering lives to make a quick $30 bucks.
