After pop-a-lock said they'd be here in an hour and then failed to show up or answer their phones I called southern lock and safe. They showed up on time, on a Sunday and had a new set of keys made for my truck in a very quick manner. Highly recommend calling these guys before any one else. Nice people that do good quality work.

I went with two other places. Doctor Lock and pop-a-locksmith mobile both left me hanging. Never showed up. Southern safe and lock showed up at the time we agreed on. He was fast professional and a fair price. Don't look any further if you need a locksmith this is the one that got with.

Mobile/Theodore, I was having issues with the dead latch sticking until it finally failed and I could not open the door that leads to the garage. I called 5 different locksmiths. Only 2 of the 5 could come on Saturday. The 1st would charge $165.00 to replace the latch and door knob (a kit) and $10.00 to rekey the new lock. The knob was fine. Another said I had to buy an $8.00 knob from Walmart and they would install it for $110.00. I could not price any, lower than $15.00 to $35.00 that were similar to the current knob. The other two 24 hr locations did not answer the phone or have voivemail. All 4 had ratings over 4.5. That leads me to Ron promising to come the next day. He was on time. He replaced the latch (I did not need a new knob or rekeying) and fixed my front door dead latch hitting the strike so that I would not later have a the same problem. He was professional and courtesy and charged less than the other 2 estimates. Many businesses no longer practice providing good customer service, this is the exception. The 5 star rating is TRUE! Call Southern Safe and Lock, you will not regret it.

My wife had her purse stolen which had our keys to our home it it while on vacation in Florida. We called Southern Safe and Lock and set an appointment to meet them at our home in Fairhope to let us in. The locksmith, I think his name was Ron, arrived 10 minutes early and had us in like magic. Seriously, I didn't think it would be as quick as it was. The locksmith then suggested that we change our locks so that the old key wouldn't fit since her purse had her ID in it with our keys. Something that we hadn't considered. So we had our locks changed on all the exterior doors. The locksmith, Ron, had us fixed up in under an hour. The best part is that all of this was very affordable. I was surprised after getting another quote from another locksmith that seemed pretty high compared to what we ended up paying for everything. Southern Safe and Lock is now our go to locksmith. Highly recommend.

Someone picked up my only pair of car keys, leaving me keyless and locked out of my car. Ron was incredibly professional and was able to unlock my car, create two keys and programmed a remote all in 45 minutes (on a Sunday and in 90 degree heat at that!) This is definitely the best route to go compared to a dealership, so I highly recommend Southern Safe and Lock.
