Outstanding place to shop. Very helpful staff. He (didn't get his name) got me the items to fix a leak. Found a blower at a great price. Also found an electronic door lock at a better price than the two big name hardware stores. They had what I needed without being overwhelming. Store size was better for me too. I have plans to get more items as I settle into my new home and make changes. Thank you.

Drive further to go to this True Value as opposed to going to Home Depot. Very knowledgeable with me providing very little details. Highly recommend going to here as opposed to Home Depot/Lowes. Already sent family members to this True Value. Everyone is great from the greeting, to having someone willing to help, to even the cashier. I always wondered how these stores stayed in business with all the big box guys like Lowes & Home Depot until I actually walked into one. Their hardware selection is UNBELIEVABLE ! People that ask me if I need help and can actually help me with knowledge about what I'm looking for. Clean and well stocked with quality products like STIHL. Not that throwaway stuff from the big box stores. Now I wonder how the big box guys are still around...

Dont waste your time. Go to Ace Hardware down the street. 2/3 of staff is incompetent of Providing adequate help and knowledge. If youre looking for a bag of grass seed or plastic picnic table possibly a birdfeeder this stores for you

I switched from Ace on 67th to Howards. Great selection, friendly helpful folks and prices are competitive if I factor in my time and fuel to go Home Depot or Ace. Just wish they accepted old batteries.

Everytime I have walked into this store I have been with a contractor or some worker and from the door at least two people start asking questions about what you want there. No one considers this to be good service it's more like they assume you are there to steal from them. One time I went to buy bird seed from them and at the register the lady picked up the big bag of bird seed to check if I was hiding anything under it. Another time I went there to buy an item they had advertised in the paper which they had sent to my house, they would not give me the ad price. I had to go home and get the ad and come back. I find that to be rude and bad business.

I do appreciate having access to misc nuts bolts screws etc the problem with this store is no body asks you if you need help? It's asked when you get to the one open register and are leaving ? That question should be ask ed when your in the aisles. I am always treated like I'm invisible! Even with my 12yr daughter.

Went in to get a couple bolts, I knew what I was after and knew where they was.The first guy asked if I needed help, I said no. After that three guys started following me getting creepy, if i stopped they stopped. If i didn't need the bolts for work I would have left them. CREEPY!

Everyone seems to of have forgotten about these places ACE/ True Value. But they seem to have better deals that your bigger stores Home Depot/Lowe's after doing some research on gardening tools I was able to buy 2 items for the price of one at the other stores. They also have better customer service I'm sure we've all encountered the ' I'm sorry this is not my department' (Home Depot) these people walk all over the store work there and don't know anything don't even bother calling someone and they say they will be right back have you wait and NEVER return well at True Value this won't be the issue they all work all isles and departments and if not they try to help you. They also have pre-made paint never picked up by whom ever requested on sale $60-70 gal paint for 30-50% off.

Amazing service I told the girl at the front that I needed to find a match a screw and she told me to head to the back when I got to the back I was greeted by an older gentleman who not only help me find the screw that I needed but put my belts back together that I had been looking for pieces for for 2 weeks and paid for the screw him self I would like to say thank you to Mr. Tim. I've been in true values from Texas all the way to Minnesota and Nevada Arizona all around and this was the nicest true value with the nicest people I've ever been in I recommend you all for everyone

This place is GREAT! If your looking for oddities and a Very Large Selection of metric or standard SAE hardware in different configurations then this place has to be one of the best neighborhood alternative's to driving all the way down town to the industrial hardware store at 32nd st and Broadway. Also worth mentioning, Unlike the other neighborhood hardware stores there is no uneducated door keeper behind a counter in a cage that you would have to explain what you want to and no empty bins. Keep up the GREAT work!
