I hate to leave a bad review because reading other reviews this place sounded great and thats ultimately why I chose them. I placed an order with this company for a new car key on 11/7, they told me it would arrive in 1-2 weeks. I called again on 11/25 to ask if they could track the package because Im really in need of a new car key and it had been 3 weeks at that point and they said it would be arriving Wednesday the 27th. As of today 12/4 I have not received a single call/update on my order... a whole month later.

Harrison is awesome! locked my keys in my truck so I was looking for the best option to get my keys back and called in to you guys at 4:40pm on a Friday (even though you guys close at 5pm ) expecting the worst. Not only did Harrison get here in like 15 minutes but I was expecting to pay way more than I did. If Harrison were my employee I would be extremely proud and show him a tons of gratitude. He is a huge asset to your company and I would invest in him as much as possible. Just look at the reviews, almost all name him specifically. Loosing your car key on a Friday night run is not fun. I had to do this one other time many, many years ago in another State and the experience was horrible. So I braced myself for crazy fees and attitude. I called the 24hr number Saturday morning and got Nathan. Well, I was thrown for a loop. Nathan was amazing! Worked with me through all the issue of having a obtain a new key fob from my local dealer, him having to program the fob at the car where I left it, and making me a couple extra spare keys that were way cheaper vs going back to the dealer. He worked with my time line and got everything done within an hour from me picking the fob from the dealer. I cannot say enough about Nathan's professionalism and willingness to help. You all are very lucky to have such a great employee. People like Nathan are not easy to find. Thank you Nathan for your help and it was a pleasure meeting you. I will be refer anyone who needs this service to Precision Locksmith Service. Keep up the great work!

Let me explain... Im down to my last car key, right? So I better make a spare key before I lose it otherwise I will have to figure out how to sell my organs in the black markets for affording a new set of keys! I went to the grocery store and made a copy for a few dollars and some change and thought I was the king of the world! It tuned out Im NOT since the car will not start because it is protected by a transponder chip in the key which is not in my cheap. I dragged my self to the dealership and the price they gave me scared me... I peed my jeans a little bit! Fortunately, no one noticed! I called up a few locksmiths afterwards thinking homies got my back, right? I was wrong AGAIN! Not feeling royal at all at this point! Those locksmiths are scavengers looking for injured preys to feast on and they sensed my desperation. I wanted to support local businesses but they wanted to suck my blood out! They quoted me a price HIGHER than the dealership! Others wanted to know my name, contact info, underwear size and how many times I pooped last week WITHOUT providing me with a price! Instead, they will send out a technician and I must pay a show up fee and then they size up how desperate I was THEN provide me with a price! Also, they rat me out and I got bombarded with weirdos calling me about my key! To hell with the devil, I will make the key copy myself! 10s of online tutorials and YouTube videos of someones dad showing how its done and nothing worked after trying everything. I tried all the tricks and hacks; opening and closing doors, pulling the master key in and out quickly like I was going to impregnate the car with a babe key, pressing the pedals and dancing around the car. On top of that, I get targeted to buy many different key programmers and other ads for car parts and services that I do not need. I was so frustrated and hopeless and ready to surrender my soul to the dealership and sacrifice a virgin but I wanted to make sure I called every locksmith in town! I cleared my schedule and busted out my spreadsheet and started calling a locksmith after a locksmith. Finally, after many phone calls and prayers, I found a handful of locksmiths who are decent human beings and run honest businesses. Precision Locksmith Service was the most convenient and most affordable and I would strongly recommend them! I hope you run into this review early enough so you will not need to sell your kidney or waste so much of your time and effort or become so frustrated with the world.Local business like this MUST continue to exist in our community! They are honest, fair, friendly, convenient and accommodating!

I broke my key in my RV lock at midnight, I stayed at my daughters over night n called the company this morning, the guy that answered was very nice and sent Edison out, he was very professional and very nice, he worked on my locks for almost or around 2 hours, I still will have the cost for a whole new casing for my lock, however he got me in and my doggy n 2 kitties were very glad he did!! I would say he needs a raise after working the night shift and didnt have to take my call that ended up being a difficult lock!! SUBARU OWNERS!I called the local zoo themed locksmith and was quoted nearly 300 dollars for two non coded Subaru keys for my sons 2006 Forrester. The next call I made was to precision locksmith in Beaverton. They had great reviews. Even though I live near the Portland airport Harrison came out to my house in 40 minutes from Beaverton and unlocked and keyed me two keys for around half the neighborhood guy. Harrison was very helpful and informative on how I could get reimbursed by AAA as well which was a surprise to me. Thank you so much!!!

Best locksmith I could have asked for. My stupid self managed to lock myself out of the house after work while nearly 30 outside with a phone @ 2%. Every now and then, a company exceeds your expectations so far that you just need to tell everybody. We were locked out of our house due to a freak electrical glitch. We called a locksmith, and they came and tried, but were unable to help. We had to sleep elsewhere that night, but we called Precision Locksmith the next day. They arrived on-time, and did not give up until they had regained access to our home without breaking any glass. They charged a fair rate, and earned a customer for life! If you are thinking about incorporating 'smart locks' into a security system upgrade, make sure that you request Danny O'Keefe to be on site to make sure that the security company doesn't send you down a rabbit hole.A security company that I won't name showed up to our house with a couple of smart locks that were not key compatible with our Schlage locks. Danny O'Keefe pointed that out and suggested that we swap them so that we could get by with one common key for all of our deadbolts.Danny made three separate trips to our house until the job was completed to his satisfaction. He made sure that the smart locks functioned property - one of the smart locks I had purchased was defective - and that I understood how to operate and program them.Danny did a first rate job. We first worked with Precision Lock 20 years ago. They will continue to be our go-to locksmith in the Portland metro area.

In spite of advertising 24-hour service, they failed to respond to our request for service at about 2:30 AM. Our neighbor was trapped on her second story balcony, locked out of her house. We finally had to call the fire department to rescue her, about 5:00 AM. To open the house, they had to damage the storm door and the main front door frame, resulting in repairs that will cost hundreds of dollars. Their call center failed to call us back to let us know they could offer no help. If you need locksmith help, I suggest you go somewhere else.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I was quoted $50 on the phone then after waiting 2hrs and then it getting dark, he finally showed up and told em because of the age of my vehicle, he would have to go in through my air bag to unlock it and I'd have to pay $175! I said absolutely not! He then started nagotiating with me and offered $115. I said no and that my phone was dead could I please use his to call someone else. He gave me the phone and I tried to call the police as I was completely stuck. He then got nervous and said he would do it for the $50 after all. Then guess what?! He just pumped my door open and stuck a wand in to unlock it! No special 'going in through the airbag' required! Huh...seems like a scam to take advantage of me when I was desperate.

WOW. My husband broke his key off in our relatively complicated front door with his Hulk strength.. resulting in a broken window, and taking guests through the back door (far less charming), with the front door out of service. I was calling around this morning, getting quotes, and Precision was in line with the other local locksmiths I'd called....UNTIL Steve, who I presume is an angel, had me send him pictures of the lock, and then coached me through how to 'extract' the key on my own (through a few more calls and pictures of my progress). I truly felt that he valued my time and money, and was blown away by the effort he put in, to save me the $100 house call. Problem solved, money saved, and I look like a hero. I will definitely be recommending these guys to my friends and family.
