I went into High Desert Lock & Safe in regards to getting a new proximity key for my Mustang. As soon as I entered the door I was greeted by Jacob immediately, it was very refreshing. He promptly helped me and got the job done without a hitch and even offered coffee! Definitely recommend coming for any key/lock work!

On 1-30-20 I drove across town to get keys cut. Jacob was the employee who helped me, while talking to me about keys to cut, Curt interrupted us and asked Jacob a question, Totally ignoring a paying customer. Made me feel as if my money was unimportant. Then Curt gave me attitude when I said I called Curt out for interrupting us. He told me there are 10 other customers, although I was the only customer in the store. I found Curt very rude and disrespectful to a paying customer. I informed Jacob, (Who was great) curt was rude and disrespectful and High Desert was not the only lock shop in town. Further, the shop was dirty and very cluttered. The counter was completely clutter with junk as if the manager could care less if the customers had a place to stand. I will not return!!!

Late afternoon call on a Friday. Most people would have have said no thanks, if they even answered the phone. Instead, Corey very graciously agreed to meet me at my residence after 5 o'clock to re-key several doors in response to this very late and last minute request. The job was done quickly and with a smile. His professionalism and pleasant demeanor were outstanding. The quality of the work was excellent. Price for the job was very fair and worth every cent.

Technically solid and fair. He gave me the full lowdown on possible issues with reflashing the keys to my Lexus. Proper equipment for cutting specialty keys and connecting to the ECU of the vehicle. Was impressed and they are right down town.

Great service. Needed a costly car key replacement, dealer estimated $100 for blank key plus cost to cut. The keyless fob to control locks / alarm would be $135 plus $69 in addition to program it. $210-250 for one key and one fob.High Desert charged me $49 with tax for the high security key KIA and mentioned that the keyless entry fob was unessential to operate or secure vehicle. But if desired, i could get a programmed one for $90.High Desert saved me $200. Excellent industry knowledge and friendly shop. I recommend to you

EditedOriginal - Hours listed are from 8am to 5pm, yet they weren't open at 4:30pm when I had called and told them I would come in a half hour earlier. Unreliable, they didn't tell me they would be closing early, and wasted my time.Updated - I went in today (6/8) since they still seemed to be the best locksmith within a considerable distance and was treated very well. I appreciated the owner's apologetic view and obvious attempts to satisfy me as a future customer. I changed from one to four stars accordingly, just because the communication I initially received wasn't up to par. I will be coming to this store for future locksmith needs, this business handles customer relations very well.

Thad and Brooke were great! I needed some keys made for a roof rack and bed cap on my truck and Thad troubleshot his way through a few snags to get me new keys made and helped unfreeze the lock cores. They showed the entire line, from the low end to the high end, with no pressure to buy one or the other.
