Customer service is good. Quality of work is not. Went in twice for a MAILBOX KEY. Simple enough right? They made three keys and none of them worked. A MAILBOX KEY. C'mon guys three old dudes in there together probably over 40 years of experience and can't even get a mailbox key right. Looking elsewhere. one key copied is about 4 dollars.

Went there today and Jim or Tim not sure what his name is but an older gentleman cut two transponder keys (not a cheap key )for my Chevy truck , after cutting them he stated normally we don't cut these because it's tricky with the tip that wears out ( would have been nice to know before he cut them) i don't live in the area and was just passing by , called the shop and the owner asked to take it back to see but at this point I've lost faith in them. Beware and use them at your own risk I'm out 50 dollars and have to buy new keys and take them somewhere more reputable I guess .

They cut and programmed 2 keys for my Toyota Camry 2018 fast, easy and fair price, Much cheaper than Toyota dealers. All other places I called they were not able to.

I serve as a maintenance person at our church. We also have a school. Needless to say, we have many locks. I do a lot of their lock maintenance, but when something is beyond my capability, I go to Barney's. I have for about 5 years now. These folks are 'real' locksmiths. They've repaired locks that were 25+ years old. They have even found parts, which I couldn't find on the internet. With me, they have a 'repair' mentality rather than push me to buy something new. I live in Claremont, CA. However, the drive is worth it for me. They even explain 'how to' on our locks regarding correct install or why a particular lock is behaving badly. I appreciate the education, as I am always trying to save our church money and do the work myself....and they don't mind. I thank you kindly for all your efforts to help me over the years. Sorry it took so long to write a review.

I've had all kinds of different keys cut here, from my house to dirt bikes, scissor lifts, and even had my ignition in my truck changed here! If he doesn't think the key will work he won't charge you. Their upfront & honest, I highly recommend!

I called this morning and nicest person in the world answered. Jim. I cannot thank you enough on another level. He saved me. I made keys for my dog sitter before I left town and didn't check if they worked before I left town!! (What a moron) Long story short I called Jim and he made a key for my house in 10 minutes.... from a PICTURE I sent him. Absolutely amazing and I couldn't be more blessed to have received such service. Thank you Jim!!

The guys at Barneys hooked it up! I was going to pay $120 for a lock smith to come out and make me a new key. Long story short, they were gonna take a day so I kept on looking. Found Barneys, gave them a call and saved $75! The guys at Barneys took their time to evaluate my problem and suggested that I took off my trunk key lock if it was accessible, which for me it was, and take it in to them. They charged me $45 dollars and did it in less than 5 minutes. Nice!

These guys are the best! Hands down. I had an employee leave the company with a set of keys and I thought I needed my office locks replaced so they could not use the keys they had.Brian was out there in a hurry and informed that rather than new locks which would have cost a considrable amount he suggexted he 'Re-Key' the locks. He assured me there would be no way the old keys would work and that it was basically a new lock inside the same case. He made sure my employees and I all tested each lock through out the building to be sure our old keys would not work.Great customer care and great speed he was at my office quickly and was finished quickly.I would recommend the gentlemen at Barneys any time

The guy was very helpful, he was there by himself and we had to wait for him to finish up ringing up the customer before us, i needed two sets of keys, He was quick to make the copies and it came out to $14 for 4 keys. I will be back to get a spare key for my truck.
