After getting see denied at 2 dealers and getting astronomical qoutes from multiple locksmiths ((ludicrous prices!!) And even getting hung up on because I declined to pay triple digits to have them cut my blank from one place.The Buena Park service tech pointed me to this little shop close by and let me tell you. I thank God this shop still in business!The owner was a no BS straight to the point kinda guy. Told me there is no guarantee, which is completely understandable if you bring your own blank. (To expect a guarantee in this kind of case would be very unreasonable on the customers part.)I paid a very reasonable price. He cut the key, it works perfectly and I am one happy customer. Simple, like it should be. You need a key, lock or whatever related job done, no frills. This is the place. Too bad business don't operate like this anymore. Support your local businesses!! Especially during these times!!

I have a remote keyless entry to my car (Toyota Prius C) that had a blank spare emergency key. Doug (key maker) had it made for me in less than one minute. And I was told a reasonable price and that there is no guarantee. I said yes, and handed him the spare and original. There were no-nonsense, or hassle. Just straight business. As I walked out with my new spare key, I thought maybe the new key will not work. But it did, I walked back to the store to let Doug know. Good experience overall, highly recommended.Please note a lot of review mention there is 'no guarantee', this is because it's a customer spare, and the shop doesn't have those spares sitting around, it becomes a problem for them to replace it. Anyways it was clearly posted on the wall.

I just called to ask if they could help with a lock out crom my vehicle. Instead of friendly communication about how best to help or a time frame I was told. There's no one available and goodbye. Maybe a bit more friendly customer service and some problem solving? Can't say how the products are but I can say they were very ride on the phone.

My 13 year old key fob finally broke and I couldn't find anyone who was willing to cut a new one. Found this place and if you walk in, you can immediately tell they've been in the business for a long time. Down to earth, reasonable and honest. Classic American craftsmanship. Thumbs up.

I got a car and houae key made here. There was no wait and the man working was very proficient and quick at making the keys. My auto key looked almost identical to the real one, which does not have a chip inside of it. I paid 10 for both. I am very happy with the keys. They work perfectly and I am glad to have a spare on my car now. Thank you Buena Park Locksmith

This is one of the last old school key Smith's around and I highly recommend him because of his high work ethic and in the technical side he is one of the best in O.C. I have been doing business with him for years as has my dad. I seldom will write a review and this is in response to the trolls out there hidding behind the net and not facing the owner or manager of an establishment when there is a problem I'm sure it can be worked out otherwise find a souless smith online.

After exhausting all efforts to make a duplicate key, that nobody else could not seem to make. I found BP L&K. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes with 2 duplicates made! Great service, love the feel, like BP back in the day! Will drive the extra few miles next time I need keys made! Love supporting the local, independent, businesses!

Just drove to this place and they were closed. The google business listing said they were open, but I guess they didnt get the memo. ;(. Bummer to have taken the time out of my day to drive over here only to find out they are not open. Super lame.

These guys were amazingly fast and acurate. Lost my keys a week into my new apartment, guys handled my door, gate and mailbox key. Under 10 bucks for 2 sets :)
