It was very convenient to have the KeyMe kiosk at our local Safeway. I think if you said 'push the key straight in. like when you use your key' that would have helped a little bit. It also took us a minute to swipe our credit card, but all in all I am very happy with my key. I feel safer having an extra key with me, and it's less bulky than having to carry all my keys at one time.

On December 15, 2019, I made 3 keys for the same lock which is new. They worked flawlessly. The experience was, in all, faster than going to a locksmith. I made them as I left the register in a supermarket. It took about 5 min to get the first key in my hand, but I can't be more accurate because the operation, although easy, was new to me. Touch screen worked fine with basic options that I was satisfied with.I dislike the option for further grinding on the key for 35% more cost. I skipped it, but it was annoying and didn't make sense. It cost me time as I stood there thinking on how the option could possibly benefit me.I really wanted regular color options like royal blue, average green, and medium gray. There are too many designs, in my experience, that will not appeal to a majority of customers. This is a great product service in a great location. Time is money, and this has saved me both of those. However, in future machine designs, please add a wire brush function internally to the machine as part of the service without charge. I spent time looking around for something to knock down the sharp brass flakes taking my attention away from a multitude of other tasks I needed to get done.

I made a duplicate of my desk key. The kiosk could not make my key as this was not a common key, it had to be shipped to me. I had my doubts about this working at all but gave it a shot nonetheless.PRO's: Easy as pie to scan the key and pay the fee.Quick shipping.The key works perfect.CON:Absolutely nothing.

This is a scam. Called in wen I locked my keys in the car. The Technician quoted me around $75 to unlock my car and 20 minutes ETA After 1 hour he arrived and claimed my car has a special security and will cost 180 extra to open. Thats a total of $255 Im like. No way Im paying you $250 to open my old Nissan. This car aint even worth more than that. After a few minutes on the phone with his manager he finally agreed to charge me $125 which is still a lot still better then $255 I had no choice so payed. But Ill know next time not ever call this place again.

It is convenient to have around here if you have an urgent key needs but it is really expensive comparing to Minutekey (Westgate Walmart) kiosk. I checked this machine to copy one of these office 'Do Not Duplicate' Restroom keys. Cost estimation was around $7-8 for one key. Got 3 copies from Walmart Minutekey kiosk about $6.5.
