I was referred to LOCK Etc by another local locksmith who did not offer automotive key-fob services. I called, spoke with 'Hugo' and he quoted me $40 for a new key-fob (including programing). I made the 20 minute drive, was done in less than 10 minutes with a programmed key-fob for $40. Lock Etc is on the southeast corner of Motor Avenue & Venice Boulevard - in the little complex with 7-11.

This place is amazing! Got 4 keys made super fast for $10 total. Don't even waste your time with one of those robot key-making kiosks, who will probably get hacked and sell your key print to thieves. This dude knows his craft and he can get it done quick. Thanks!

We needed to have our house rekeyed. Locks Etc. sent Diego to our home. He has many years of experience and he rekeyed our house so quickly we were totally surprised. Plus Diego was a delightful person. This is a tiny, almost invisible place in a corner mall on the South East corner of Venice and Motor. We have taken our difficult foreign car keys in for copies and they can do them but we never had them send someone to the house. Highly recommended.

The gentleman had my keys ready, 4 total, before I had the chance to see if I had enough cash to pay! (FYI, cash only. Hit your banks atm before hand or the 711 next door has one).
