Easy to use, took less than 5 minutes and its a good copy!

I tried it twice now, both times it messed up. The first time I ordered three keys but it only got two. The two that it did cut worked, but were covered in burrs, I had to clean them up with sandpaper first. The second time the key didn't work at all. The cuts were too shallow and again, the key was covered in burrs.

Very easy to use. Made copies of 2 different regular house keys. Very convenient but you pay for that convenience. $7+ per basic key and higher for specialty keys or keys with designs on them. There was a buy 2 get 1 free promo when I made copies. You can opt to save the keys to make copies later even without having the physical keys on your person. That feature would come in handy if you get locked out of your house during business hours. You will need your email address and fingerprint to use this option later.Unfortunately, one set of the keys (all 3 copies of it) did not work when I got home and tested it. I contacted customer service and they refunded me for the 3 keys right away. Excellent response time.

Quick and easy and reasonably priced but keys were kind of rough with extra bits of brass stuck to them (called flashing). Sandpaper cleaned them up. The keys work fine.

I used the Kyosk inside Bed, Bath and Beyond to make a duplicate key of my 10 yr old Honda. Instructions were clear and very easy to use. I received my duplicate key within 5 business days along with a DIY programming kit, which I did not expect. I also did not receive a remote controller key like the one pictured in the kyosk instructions. After speaking to a representative, I was told that not all cars are eligible for the remote controller keys and mine was one of them. Representative also explained that not everyone has to get a DIY programming kit, sometimes they are able to send a completely programmed key with controller to customers depending on their car year, make and model.Overall, I would have liked to know this info upfront but apparently they are working on it. In the meantime, representative compensated me for the inconvenience.

I used the KeyMe kiosk at Bed Bath & Beyond and was surprised by the quality of the two keys I purchased. As a real estate broker I often get keys form my local hardware stores that barely work or sometimes do not work at all. The Keys from KeyMe were excellent, the best I have had in the last few years. The price is a little higher than my hardware store but the quality of keys and time I save not having to go back to have keys remade a second time is well worth the extra investment. Also the kiosk was surprising user friendly. All in all it was a very nice experience!
