He came after hours on a dime. I will keep his information and refer to anyone looking for locksmith services.

As a woman, I will happily give this business as many stars as possible and I didnt even end up receiving their services. Why?I was locked out of my apartment and called the first locksmith I could. They wouldnt tell me any rates until they arrived then tried to charge me $250 to pick my lock. I knew that was way to much so I called California Locksmith and the gentleman who answered the phone coached me through everything.He explained that I was being way overcharged and that I had the right to refuse service to anyone. He advised that I tell the other guy to leave and that hed be on his way immediately, just to text him the address. He told me his rates which were WAYYYYY more affordable and was in his car within 5 minutes to come to me.Thankfully, my the grace if god, my property manager happened to be walking by and I got her to let me in but otherwise I wouldve been happy to get help from CLC! Thanks for looking out.

I'm not fond of writing bad reviews but I feel the need to do so this time. I spoke with the owner Alex, on Monday to get a replacement key made for my car. He assured me we could get it cut and programmed within 30 minutes. It has been a week now and the only time I've heard from his has been when I've called from a different number just to tell me he was going to call me back. I feel as if they blocked my number after they agreed to come down and provide the service is confusing and frustrating as a consumer. As a parent this was very inconvenient since I had to scramble at the last minute to make arrangements to pick up my child since Alex didnt fulfill his end of the agreement. For whatever reasons he might of had I'm not sure since they were never communicated to me. I just notice that, that is the common theme is the other reviews I'm not really sure why this company is in business if it does not want to do business?

Inquired about the price, seemed reasonable, and when I called again to pick an appropriate time, I was told a different price by a different employee. After trying to ask how the price went up, I was hanged up on, and then he refused to pick up. After a day I called back again and he picked up, but after asking a good time to come in the phone went silent and hanged up, and I was constantly forwarded voicemail. At least tell me that you don't want to work today instead of hanging up pretending no one is there.Update: After looking at some of the reviews, it would appear that a couple are fake and illegitimate, and some low reviews have one of the employees talking smack instead of trying to resolve the problem. Maybe the business itself is alright, but I am sure at least one of the employees is screwing everything up.

Stay clear of this guy! This guy is completely unreliable and unprofessional. He tends to hang up on people or ignores calls, claiming his phone doesnt work. I believe him to be a liar. Either way not worth trusting him. I just read other reviews where he also hung up on other people and never showed up. I wish I would have reviewed the posting earlier. It would have saved me hours of lost time and frustration.

I call them to ask a price about cuting a key for a lexus and this guy didnt want to cut my key That i would provide, he wanted to program it snd charge me all this extra money when i just need the spare cut, not only that but he also hangs up on me and then doest want to answer my call and sends it to voice 3 times , these People are real doosh bags and you state you called me back , never happed btw

Excellent service! Alex was fast, courteous, and charged reasonable prices (far less than others we called). We lost our master car key (that contained a chip) and some other locksmiths wanted $300 for a programmed replacement! The dealership wanted $185, plus wanted us to tow the car to them so they could program it! California Locksmith Co. beat all their prices, plus was able to get us a 2nd key for far less than everyone else quoted. And they drove to us instead of a ridiculous tow! They were honest and just doing a service, rather than trying to scam us in a time of need.Definitely recommending them to others for the future!

I ended up losing my only car key, not sure if it was even in the car. I called California Locksmith and he arrived under 30 minutes. I was pretty upset but he was kind and understanding. Service was quick and efficient. He even gave me a great deal for making a car key. I couldn't be more grateful. I would definitely call California Locksmith if you want quality work that won't cost you an arm and leg. The best I've met so far.

These guys are amazing and life savers!! Lost my keys last night while being out and about, and was frantic on getting a replacement key asap. Called other shops and they were quoting me $200-$300 and saying weekends were pricier. Then I called California Locksmith Company and spoke with Alex who was super helpful and best price in town. $100 for a new key with a chip and I'm so pleased with how fast and reliable they were. Will definitely be going to them for all my locksmith needs.

Set an appointment. Never showed up the first day. Reschedule second appointment. Still no one showed up. Called them up and they hung up. Wasted two days waited for them. Not worth anyone time. Be careful.Update. Its funny after this review. Hes so quick to comment back on this review but cant call back. Smh. Very unprofessional and not reliable. Contacted for lock replacement throughout the house, he arrived late, hours after stated time, but I didn't think too much of it since I know jobs take longer than expected. By the time he finished the work it was 11pm. Being late n tired bc I had dealt with losing my keys earlier, I paid and went to bed. Unfortunately in the morning, I realized one of the locks didn't work and 2 other knobs were lose. I called and after 3 calls and 3 texts Alex answered the phone and said he would be happy to return to my house and fix the issues. He stated he would arrive at 4 pm..well at 5 pm I began to try contact him to get updates on arrival, and after finally at around 6 said 'yes, I'm on my way, just running a little behind' well...it was 9pm and he NEVER showed up! I called and texted and he never responded. I was so disappointed to have trusted him. I wasted money and more importantly my time. He could have just I can't return, I'm busy, whatever, but no, he acted nice and had me wait!! I lost 2 days of work bc of his lie. And after a month it still bothers me and that's why I am now making the time to submit a review. Think twice before giving your business to him. The minimal service he provides is decent but can easily turn TERRIBLE! And more importantly Alex is MILSLEADING, and DISHONEST with his customers.

Worst customer service I have experienced in some time. Called him and confirmed an appointment for 12:45 PM yesterday. At about 1:30 he was a no call no show still. Called a few times between 1:30 - 2:00PM. No pickup and no call back at all on either phone number I left him. When I get my phone bill for the business and personal for the month I will post the calls from the day here, so anyone reviewing can see he never called back. Chooses to do as he pleases. Read the yelp reviews about his lack of call backs as well.

Locked myself out, duhhh. Called CA Locksmith Co. they asked I text a picture of the lock to give me a more accurate quote. I appreciated this because (sadly this isnt my first time locking myself out) Ive been given low quotes before and when they get here its suddenly becomes double the price (for a standard lock). Arrived and in the house within 30 minutes. Cash only but reasonably priced. Friendly and professional. Will be saving their number for future use (haha, sadly I know its bound to happen again).

If you're looking for a reliable and quick locksmith, give them a call! They were quick to come on a Friday night. They were true to their word about their estimated time of arrival. I tried calling a difference place and they said twenty minutes and even after 40mins, they were still stuck on the 91. Highly recommend!

My wife lost our keys in the mall and we are from out of state. We called California locksmiths to have our vehicle re-keyed. They arrived within 30 minutes was able to make both keys.....Door and ignition... Paid and tipped $20. Now for the fun part. The whole time while he was working on it I was telling him how my father is on a make a dream trip because he has only a Month or two to live and that tomorrow we had to be at Disneyland. Mind you its now 12:50am. The locksmith left and as we gathered up our family and started the car I asked my wife where the key for the door was? She replied I Dont have it. She immediately called him to see where the key was put. He had it with him but was already on his way to another call. He said he would call and meet us when he was done. It could take up to 2hrs to get it to us but would as soon as he could. We waited up all night and tried to call. Its now 10:30 am no key, no answer, and a locked van at the hotel. We are missing my fathers Disneyland trip he wanted and we have to check out of the hotel. This has been a horrible experience.

I'm currently taking this company to court they messed up my BMW computer and messed up my car. My car won't start, they have no clue to what they are doing! Don't trust them! The worst thing is I don't have a working car now and they blame me for their bad work by saying the issue was in result of mechanical problems when my car drove perfectly fine!! I just needed a new key!! They came 4 hours late took 3 days just to make the problem worse! Do yourselves a favor and go somewere else where PROFESSIONALS can handle the job. How unprofessional to blame your clients who are ready to pay you to do your job! I have curently filed a poilice report. This place doesn't even deserve one star.
