I have locked my keys in my car several times I know I need to get AAA and blah blah blah. I locked my keys in my car today called Giles to come unlock my car 30 minutes before they close. They said they'd be there in 10 they were there in 9 unfortunately for Giles, by that time someone came by and had the perfect touch and was able to unlock it for me. As the driver pulled up I told him, he said that was okay and to have a good day. I felt really bad but they still are great business for coming out there and treating me nicely. BTW only $65 bucks to unlock your car I paid $179 for a tow truck company to do the same thing two years ago.

I had gone to Giles as I couldn't open my car door, I was greeted with a smile and great customer service. They did had the lock I needed but were able to open my car door. Giles is also doing some work at one pf my places of work. They are always very nice, very professional and doing a great job.

Today I experienced one of a mothers great fears... my 2 year old got locked in my car. Giles immediately sent help out to me and within minutes got the car unlocked. They didnt even charge me (but I still have a tip). So thankful for their service and how fast they got out to us!

Giles quotes us an outrageous amount for repairing a lock that they installed. On top of that, we get to meet miserable Anthony chomping his gum. Horrible customer service. Luckily we found a more competent lock smith that completed the job same day.

We had actually tried about 4 other places with no success, either no experience or out of stock. At Giles we didn't have any trouble what so ever. I needed my new key fobs reprogrammed for my truck they did it so fast and for cheap they did it in less than 5min where the dealership wanted to do it for $150 hr and said it would take 30min to one hour where as Giles did it in less than 5min and did it for $43 awsome

Lost the key to my hitch lock on my truck back in the Southeast. Tried to have a lock and key company in Vegas pick the lock but we failed. Thought Id need to find a metal cutter next, but asked Jeremiah Johnson, Locksmith at Giles Lock and Key in Redding, CA and, sure enough with his patience and expertise, he got my lock off for a minimal charge. Happy customer now, I can use the hitch on my truck again.

Excellent work and fast and friendly.Had to get my honda civic ignition rebuilt and rekeyed. To get the ignition replaced through honda it would have cost well over $1000 (anywhere else it around $800), Giles did it for less than half of that!

The best pricing in town for popping a door open, and the keys they replicated for my car cost me 4 dollars, a darn good bargain compared to King and their $65 dollar quote and who knows how much per key? Giles earned a lifelong customer two days ago when they saved our butts.

After I lost the only key for my vehicle (a 2003), and live 50 miles from redding I was struggling to find a solution. Initially Giles told me that it was too far to send their guy, but if I came down to redding they could help me. It would cost $$$ to get my vehicle to redding, and it would also cost $$$ to have them come out and make new keys. They decided to come assist me with my crisis. Which was great. The tech showed up on time, and was very friendly. After I showed him my paperwork and gave him my credit card he went to work. After he made the keys the truck wouldn't start, due to the alarm system. The alarm system seemed to be a stumbling block. The tech was beginning to tell me that he wouldn't be able to do anything more, until my alarm system that was after market was fixed. Via google, and phone a friend he found a reset button, that allowed the truck to start. The tech informed me that the alarm was now reset, and I would have no more issues. After I drove the vehicle to the store and locked the door, the alarm started going off when I unlocked the door. I had to hold the reset button down while turning the ignition. I was frustrated but still happy that I could drive my truck. After looking at the alarm system later, I discovered its not an aftermarket system, it says Ford right on it. Via Google, I discovered that the alarm issue was fixable. I went out to the truck, and turned the ignition on and off 3 times fast (not starting the vehicle) and hit the lock button on the door. Problem was solved. My only thought is for the $$$ that you pay a person to help you get your vehicle started, they may possibly be more informed on security systems. The panel was off, and the unit was right in view that said Ford. It was clearly not an after market system. I am extremely thankful that the tech didn't give up until the truck started, and am even happier now that I have fixed the alarm system. I'm calling this my stupid tax, and hey the second key was really reasonable after the cost of the service call and the cost to make the first key :)
