I needed new keys to my safe before Sunday July 5th (my rent money was in there) Sentry Safe wanted an extra fifty dollars to expedite the keys and on a holiday weekend, expediting could mean mid week and I would be spending close to a 100 bucks. What I needed was a nice person, a good old fashioned mom and pop style business with a genuine human. So I weeded through the google ads until I found Convoy Street Locksmith Shop. I called July 3rd; the shop was already closed, but the owner answered the phone; I explained my situation, and he agreed to open the shop on July 4th, no extra charge no hidden fees. Half the price of Sentry keys.A lot of big businesses would have loved to take advantage of my dilemma. A little old lady desperate for a set a keys on a holiday weekend is very enticing to greedy folks. But the owner Mike was more like your old school neighborhood grocer, so to speak. Businesses like that are hard to find. If you want efficiency, skill, honesty and integrity all at a reasonable price, this is your place.

Even if he had actually not been effective In setting the 2004 Hyundai Sonata automobile fob that I had actually bought from Amazon, I still would claim I had an excellent experience with Mike, the owner of this locksmith professional shop. Thanks Mike!Tip- if you currently have an initial automobile fob with you as well as you are simply configuring a Second vehicle fob, make sure that you let Mike understand ahead of time so that he can reprogram both at the exact same time for you.

This guy is very dishonest with no morals at all. He didnt cut my key as he wanted to up sell an additional service that I didnt need or want. Because I refused the additional service, he refused to cut the key. What an a!@hole.

Mike the owner was a great guy, very sincere and friendly. I brought in my own OEM blanks and he said they'd run about $3 for a copy. He messed up my blank and didn't charge me because it wasn't a good fit for my bike ignition. Ended up wasting a blank but still a very genuine and honest guy. Instead of using both blanks and just charging me the full price, he tried to help me to get it to work and apologized for not being able to do both copies.

Just got a key copy made for my 2012 Fusion. I bought the car used and only one key came with the car. I bought an after-market key, but it wasn't cut, and you need both original keys to program it for yourself. Long story short, I took it to this guy, and for a fraction of what the dealer quoted me for cutting and programming, he set me right up in about 20 minutes. Between getting the aftermarket key off of Amazon and cutting/programming it here, it was less than a quarter of the dealer cost. Now I have a spare key for my wife to use and all of the remote buttons work too. He also erased the missing key from memory so that it can't be used to start the car. Very highly recommended.

I paid $307 in advance so the owner could order what he needed to have a master remote key made for a newly purchased 2013 Camry. When I picked the car up the day the work was to be done the owner explained he could not program the car with a remote keyless system because the car was not equipped for that. I had advanced $307 since he assured me he could perform the work. I requested a refund since he failed to perform the job. He refused with the rationale that it wasnt his fault he couldnt make the key, 'why you feel that I should have known what options your vehicle came with or without.' I asserted that I relied on his expertise as a locksmith and he didn't perform the job. I took him to small claims court and prevailed. I still havent been paid the judgment the court awarded me. This is not a very nice not smart man and in response to my complaint and suit he keeps threatening to sue me for defamation. Review written last year: I paid $306.20 in advance at the owners request so he could order whatever it was he needed to make a master remote key for a 2013 Camry I just purchased. When I picked the car up the owner explained he couldn't program the car with a remote keyless system. He refused to provide me a refund. I relied on his expertise as a locksmith, he didn't perform the job. I expect a refund, not excuses. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Their response was 'the BBB has determined that the company's response does not adequately address all the issues or make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute. The BBB has decided to close this complaint and consider it unresolved.' Next step is small claims court.

The owner Mike with rudest meth head attitude tried to charge me 80 dollars to copy a key. So I drove to the next closest locksmith who charged me only 5 freaking dollars!!!
