ive been here 3 times, consistently great service! they do simple stuff for a fair price and can even help with more complex jobs. they ordered parts for me and replaced my entire locking mechanism on my car. The best and only place to get key/lock services in the PB/Beach area!!!

Wonderful customer service, quick, great value. They first tried to fix my car key, which was really nice because that would have been super inexpensive. As my key was crushed beyond repair, they had to order a new key. The part came in just a few days and they called me as soon as it arrived. I was surprised when I saw that the key was a factory key with the logo embedded in the key. Very cool! They were $35 cheaper than the dealership, fast, local, and very nice. I will refer everyone to this shop. Oh and they have so many types of fun house keys, go here for house keys too!

Posted hours are incorrect! Opens at 10am Mon-Sat, 12 noon on sunday, and closes at 6pm every day. They're probably reachable in emergencies outside those hours (I don't know) but these are the times posted on their entry. Great place for key cutting and car key programming. They even threw in a free metal car key for surfing;)

They may be good for standard door keys, but for car keys they manage to destroy mine. I brought in my own key, they check the key and read the chip, cut the key and when I tried it it doesn't even get all the way into the door.Now they are saying I brought in the wrong blank key!Well, the model, number, key fob, serial code all match. Some grooves one the side are not there and surprisingly enough it looks like the side of the key has just been machine cut.....hmmm, I wonder where...Anyway, mistakes can happen, but the attitude of the guy which acted as the store owner is most concerning. No responsibility what so ever, trying ton hide a mistake and getting rude and border line aggressive when I told them they key I just paid for doesn't work....Up to you if you want to deal with this shop. I will not.

Besides having a competent lock and key guy, this place has amassed a key ring collection that would make any collector proud. If you think you've tried everywhere to find that unusual keychain or fob, and you haven't had any luck, then you haven't tried here...

Highly recommend. Friendly dudes on the phone and in person. The tech (forgot to get his name) made a copy of my key (which was dang near broken). He let me know the potential of a miscopy due to the fracture. He cut, and tested the duplicate. In and out in 10 minutes.

Came in to get 15 keys made. He made all 15 in about 20 minutes and have faithfully opened the locks. He warned me that one of the keys to a door made in the 50s was unusual and might sometimes be hard to find in the future, but so far so good. I would come back.

Locked myself out the night of Super Bowl Dan was at my door within 20 mins & had it unlocked 5 minutes later. Overconfident me, I was convinced I could pick this lock myself - having no experience picking locks .. I watched a couple YouTube videos... Tried a butter knife, wine key, paper clip, all the tools the vids suggested. But noooo .. Dan was the man & picked this lock even though I had completed destroyed the keyhole with my stupid attempts hahah thanks for saving me dup-a-key you nailed it

I called around 7:30 pm because my key fob stopped working. I was told there were 2 jobs in front of me and that they would get to me around 10:30 so i waited. After waiting until about 10:00 I called just to make sure that they would still be able to make it. The tech told me he was just finishing the first job and was on the way to the second. I was told he would arrive around 11-11:30 at the latest. Got a call at 11:26 saying that he wasnt going to make it... I wish I could give them 0 stars

So they weren't able to make me a key for my van door, but they did go over and above trying to. And didn't charge me for the effort which they probably could have for the time spent. I would go back and you should.

Never let me down when replacing/duplicating electronic car key fobs. Buy the fob on eBay, and take it here to get programmed and cut. You will save at least 50% vs. bringing it to the dealer.

They stand behind their service. When the duplicate key did not work due to the worn original, they troubleshooted free of charge and made the key that worked better than the worn original, free of charge. Would recommend!

First off, these guys are extremely knowledgeable. Second, they are really cool. I lost my key to my 2001 Volkswagen Jetta. Vincent, I think his name was, came to my house and made me a new key within an hour. He was really nice and courtious. If you use this company, which I highly recommend, ask for the guy with high socks. That's Vincent.
