Great guy, came on a Saturday afternoon when I got off work... I lost the key for my car and he made it in under 1 hour, it was way less than getting a dealer key but then 4 hours later I found my original key after looking for it for about a month... Now I have a spare key so I'm still happy with the service

The technician fix my lock from my car door but broke a piece of plastic in the door and did not even told me but try to hide it!. Since it was at night I did not notice it till next day, so next day I text him a picture and ask him to fix it and he ignore me. I'm grateful that my car insurance covers this and they will be getting in contact with the honor and of Lock techs and will probably charge him hundreds of dollars more because of all the inspection and repair that it will take to fix it.

So, get this. I called another outfit (I wish I could remember so I could call them out) to make a replacement key for my older model Lexus IS300. The guy who answered, was super f'n snotty, told me he'd have someone out right away and quoted $150. I was in a hurry and figured the price was reasonable as its an older car so I agreed. Anyway, after waiting 75 minutes I called back and got the same snotty a#^hole on the phone who, when I asked how long it would be for the tech to get here told me 'As long as it takes him to get there'. So, 2 minutes later, the tech calls and tells me it will be another 20 minutes!!! I said forget it and called Lock Techs. He said he would do it for 60.00 and I could get it done in 15 minutes! David was as friendly and knowledgeable as anyone I've ever worked with and did an excellent job with 'eyeballing' the key cuts (Cuz the car is so old) the first time. I wish I could give him a 10-star review.

My daughters key was stolen out of her car she was stuck alone at Seaport Village. I didn't know what to do. I looked up the closest locksmith and called lock tech. I think his name was David on the phone, he assured me he would help and he did. My daughter had a new key and was safe at home in no time. So sweet and professional. They text her updates. She was so happy with the tech he was nice too! What a great experience. I will recommend them to everyone! Thank you !!

Great service!!! He arrived on time like he said, The Ignition to my car with damage do too burn down key. Just wear down over time and he fixed my Ignition made me a brand new key for great price compared to anyone around town no one beat this guy. 100% would Recommend him to anyone. Late last night, the fob for my Honda broke. I had work this morning, so I started my day at 6 AM at the nearest Walmart Auto Center hoping they would be able to fix it quickly for a low price. I was informed by the employee in the auto center that they couldn't fix the issue, but she recommended I call Lock Techs. Within 40 minutes of me contacting them, David arrived to my house and cut me a new key, programmed the remote, and provided excellent customer service despite my frantic and frustrated mood. The replacement key he provided me with was of better quality than the one I got from the Honda dealership, and at a savings of $160. I could not be more satisfied with the service and product I received.

Super fast response time, even offered advice over the phone on how to open the lock without him coming out. Embarrassingly we managed to find the key as he was about to open the lock, and he was extremely courteous and didn't ask for any payment even after it was offered. Would not hesitate to call him in the future, and would recommend him to anyone!

Most affordable locksmith in San Diego by a long shot! I needed to get a spare key for my 2013 car. Its normally hundreds of dollars because of transponder chips, thick square shape that has to be laser cut and key fob built into the key. I got same day service and the work was done quickly on the spot while paying about a third of other quotes. Thanks!

Just like others unhappy customers already said...this company is a joke. I called to ask if they can open a steering wheel lock bar (the Club) in a car.YES, will be there in 30 minutes and $80 flat fee.....60 minutes later, a lock technician show up with no tools except a cordless drill trying to sabotage the bar. STOP! STOP! long story short..he wants $29 for the service call because he showed up and says it would cost me $89 for a successful job. I gave them nothing but 0, zero, nada, zip star rating.

It was so impressive how quickly he worked and his prices were very fair. I highly recommend Lock Techs and encourage you to call them first. David is a family man and this is his livelihood. I would much rather support him then a big chain.

This place is a joke, David the owner as the name he uses is dishonest and shouldnt take on work or jobs that he cant handle. He gave me the runaround on different occasions that he would arrive at a certain time and he kept making excuses on why he couldnt show up at a certain time.. Just be honest and let the customer know you are too busy to take on jobs instead of leaving people waiting.. Very bad customer service

Man David is the best guy to fix my keys and very helpful. He came right away and made a new key fro me on the spot. He very nice and very respectful. I trust him and he gave me good warranty if my key happens to mess up. But so far no troubles and opens my trunk and all my doors. I thank this ma. very much people should go to him with any locksmith issues forget other places go to David. Also go buy is awesome key chains and lanyards. He is just awesome and great service.

David is great! He didn't have the remote I needed for my Mazda3 but he came out anyway and made a chipped key so I'd be able to drive and said he'd come back in a couple days once he had the remote. He charged much less than I was quoted at three other places and now I will have a backup key for the future. I highly recommend!

Alex was very fast and provided great service. I lost my key yesterday to my Toyota and called the Toyota dealership how much would a replacement key cost and they quote me an estimate of 500 - 600$. I call these people up and they tell me a straight forward price of 125$ and they were able to come to me and make it from the truck they came in. They are awesome!

I needed a key made for my old 97 Toyota Avalon, not just for the doors, but for the trunk. My car is unique and weird in that the inside release for the trunk is broken and my back seat in not one that can fold down to gain access to the trunk. In other words, only a key will open the trunk. David helped me out and quickly made me 2 keys that worked for the ignition, doors, and trunk. I'm very thankful for this service on short notice. I recommend him!!

These guys are a waste of time!! I needed help with an ignition I was fixing. They told me to bring it in. I show up. No one is there. That's understandable. I call them and they say they are 7 minutes away. I wait. Call back 15 minutes later. He tells me he's 5 minutes away. I call back 15 more minutes later and he's still not close. So I went and found a real locksmith.

The service from this company, and specifically Alon, was nothing short of amazing. He helped me out when I locked myself out of my own house. It was a brand new home with a high security lock so it was difficult to get open. He spent a good amount of time trying to get it to unlock. While most companies would have given up and drilled it open, he kept working at it which saved me another charge on my bill.
