Plaza's locksmith. Is the only place to let keys made. Buy quality locks and more. Big box stores copy keys and some times they dont work.

Closed but sign says open?I showed up here in Saturday at 11:30 and the sign says they are open but the door is locked. I saw the guy going inside as I pulled into the parking lot. I call the number and the guy answers and I say hey I just got here and got sign says you're open. He says 'well I'm not, I'm out' I just saw him enter and I ask when he will be back and he says 'not for a few hours, and I won't be open then, so bye' Super rude.

I suppose these guys are good, but not sure i'll ever know. I just called to see if one of their THREE mobile locksmiths who, per web site, serve ALL of Ventura County could come open a locked door for me. Well, turns out that Ojai is apparently NOT part of Ojai. They don't service the Ojai area it seems. Who knew? Best of luck with that.

Nice family business. Had gone in day after Christmas to change key fob batteries. They recommend change once a year at least. They can test battery but for $5 just change them all.

Locking mechanism on our front door broke. Couldnt even get it open. They had someone out in half an hour (Jose) . Jose saved the day was very knowledgeable and professional. He did excellent work very quickly and was very reasonable ! Would definitely use them again. Honest and reliable !

This review is sooooo tardy. In the past 8 years Michael, Sophie, Jose, have always been there for our 3 Auto Dealerships. Friendly, cooperative and will even help you save money. If you are looked out, they will NOT take advantage of your unfortunate situation. In the homeowner arena, they really want to take care of you, they understand the value of repeat customers.

I tried to get a copy of a key made and although Sophia was nice and tried to help, Michael was obnoxious, rude, and lazy. He rushed the job and I had to make a couple of trips back to get it redone. Before my last try, he said, 'If this doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.' It didn't work and I had a feeling that it wouldn't because he rushed it, but I tried anyway. I ended up calling and got Sophia. I told her the problem and asked if she would be in the next day as I would like her to be the one to take her time and make the key. She said that she would and I asked her if there was a good time for her for me to stop by. She said that she would be in all day so anytime would be fine. When I stopped by that morning, Michael was there and adamant that she was not to come down from doing paperwork upstairs. I kept trying to tell him that I spoke to her the previous afternoon and that she could have told me that she would be unavailable in the morning and I would have gladly stopped by in the afternoon instead, but he kept cutting me off and told me, 'she doesn't have all day to sit around waiting for you...leave my store...' When I had had enough I raised my voice so I could finally finish my sentence and told him that he had a bad attitude. He immediately said that I was the one with the bad attitude and said that he'd call the police if I didn't leave the store. I told him that I'd gladly speak to the police. He kept yelling at me to leave his store as he was giving me a refund. Unbelievable. I ended up going to Tri-County Locksmith. The guy there was incredibly nice and helped me to figure out what the problem with the key was. He is a vet, too, so I gladly will use Tri-County from now on.
