Really had a great experience with Bamboo Locksmith. Fixed a stubborn front door that was sagging and and wouldnt latch properly as well as a few other doors around the house that werent properly latching or were misaligned. He spotted other issues with outdated knobs/locks I wanted to keep but couldnt be fixed and offered to follow up in the future with possible solutions.

I called Mr. Batyr at Bamboo Locksmith with no referral other than recommendations on Yelp and he was a business close to my home. I couldnt turn the key in my front door lock without using pliers this morning.The lock is at least 25 years old. He serviced the mechanism and made me a key that would be easier to use since I have lost strength in my hands. Very nice, did not charge too much. I would call again and recommend him.

Had Best Buy install a Nest Lock.. they did a terrible job. They installed the deadbolt where my doorknob was, so I had two deadbolts and no doorknob! The lock was uneven and non functional. Bamboo responded to my request almost immediately, came quicker than I could've hoped for, and did the job for $140, which is cheaper than most smart installations. He had to drill a bigger hole for the deadbolt (apparently the Best Buy guys don't know how to use a drill with a circular bit). He did all the hard work (making sure it was level and functional) for me while I set up the Google Nest aspect (super easy, you scan and plug in your Nest Connect, and scan your Yale Nest Lock before you put on the battery cover). Would recommend, and will use again if I ever need a locksmith! Couldn't have done this alone, and thrilled with his helpful attitude and professionalism.

My mom locked herself out of her car late at night in front of a 99 cent store. She called the service and the service was quick and superb. This nice gentlemen came to open the lock immediately, opened her car within minutes and thank god she made it home safe. Bamboo Locksmith Services is amazing!! This week, my 2 year old daughter unintentionally locked me onto our back patio - and of course our front door was locked too and I didn't have keys on me! I called Bamboo Locksmiths and the nicest gentleman answered. I told him my situation, trying to keep calm that my sweet baby was inside the house without me (it was also very hot outside and I am 9 months pregnant) - and he assured me he would be on the way immediately. Sure enough, he was right there with me 15 minutes later, and within just a couple of minutes I had my little girl in my arms again. Batyr was professional, skilled, and so kind. I appreciated the quick and friendly service. Definitely call him first when you are in need!!

Thank goodness for the company and its owner. I have a terrible habit of locking myself out of my apartment. (4 times in one year, I know.) Keys got locked in my truck so I called the guy up and gave me an estimated time that he would arrive. He came within the hour and he was able to unlock pretty quick. Batyr is more than a locksmith; he is a miracle worker. We have a very old, custom made front door with a doorknob that would not stay on. Several other locksmiths have attempted to fix it with no success. One locksmith in the past told us that the entire door would need to be replaced. Another said it was impossible to fix and refused to look at it. Batyr patiently took the doorknob assembly apart and crafted a solution. He spent two and a half hours doing this and charged only his standard rate. His rate was very reasonable, the doorknob is working again, and the old, custom made doors are once again as functional as they are beautiful.
