First time I visited the store, they were able to make a copy of my screen door that no big box store could make. When I moved into my new house, I called them to rekey and replace locks and they were quick to book. Very professional and punctual. Called on same day to confirm and were transparent with the costs, which I appreciated.

Dont go here you will be ripped off got a place to do it for cheaper for a quarter of the price. Just to go see your vehicle is 250 wonder what else they will rip you off on. Warning.

The place to go if you need a key cut or don't even have one to make a copy of they do both. People there were very helpful and very accommodating I couldn't find the key I need a copy of so they could cut it just from the code luckily my wife found the key and they were able to make a copy that worked excellently

I went to get a key made and when I went in it took a while for me to have anyone help me. They had some difficulty making our motorcycle key (which, in fairness, is not a common brand). When I got home and tried the key, it didnt work. The price ($4) seemed fair at least.

Very expensive for a key copyI asked how much to copy my car key he looked at for a few seconds .I didnt need it programmed but because of that reason he wanted to charge $75.00 to cut a key.. RIP off..

I stop in the Donut shop next door and always have to drive around this Jimmie Lock & Key van blocking the entrance. Try parking in an actual parking spot . The owner's response below doesn't change any facts. You ARE blocking the entrance from the rear. There is NOT enough space for 2 cars to go around the back if your van IS parked where it should NOT be. Park there for 20 years, it's still NOT a parking space. Just admit it is easier to put it in drive and just go.

Called to ask for a Re-Key of all the locks on our new home. Was quoted what we thought was a fair price over the phone. Always willing to pay more $ for honesty/good work/customer service from small local businesss. However when he arrived the initial quote was missing a $60 trip charge which I was not aware of. We still had the work done but as a sign of good faith the $60 non-communicated trip charge should have been waived. I did ask for this to happen but he said no. Not fair for us to pay for his employees mistake. So unfortunate.

Beyond Known Space

I brought a 50 year old door handle to them and Bill toyed with it for what seemed like an hour and made a key right in front of my face with what appeared to be a nail file of some sort. At first they weren't sure they could do it, but he didn't give up and I walked out the door with a working key! Very talented folks and they've got some humor to boot! Definitely recommend this place if you have an impossible lock. I thought I would be paying at least $100-$200 and I left for $35. Great people and great service, don't go anywhere else!

Okay, so this locksmith wasted a week of my time and couldn't even help with my lock problem. I stopped in his shop on a Monday asking for a quote to get the locks on my car re-keyed. The locksmith was not in but they took my information and said he would call me back. I stopped in again on Wednesday when no one called me back. They took another message (locksmith was out again). They told me if I wanted to talk to him I should come in Saturday as he was always in the shop Saturday. I told them I just wanted a ballpark figure as to how much it would cost. They assured me he would call. So Saturday I stopped in (as no one called) and guess what. He does not even work on car locks. Maybe he is okay for out calls but definitely avoid his storefront, and be sure to go somewhere else if you need car locks worked on.

We had a lockout emergency recently and Jimmie's responded quickly. From the time we called them til our front door was open was about an hour. Technician Bill was friendly and helpful. We had great service from Jimmie's, and we would not hesitate to call them again.

I have a very rare motorcycle and I found 2 OEM key blanks online for quite a bit of money. I took them to Jimmie Lock and Key and explained my situation to the lady working there. She cut a blank that she had in store that would fit my bike, just to make sure it worked. It worked first try, so I gave her the go-ahead for the two OEM blanks. Both of them work flawlessly. If I had taken it to Home Depot or any other store, I'm sure they would've messed up my keys then shuffled me out of the store. I highly recommend Jimmie Lock and Key and will use them for any of my Lock/Key related needs!
