Very poor service. The guy came into my house After another roommate let him in he did not ask for any information just went straight to my door and unlocked it without permission (he stated he got it roomate never told him anything further than letting him in) I was calling at the exact same time to cancel the service and came back in and the door was open then when we tried to negotiate with him since he was being so unprofessional he threatened to call the cops so tossed the money and asked him to leave. The website States they use productive gear he came into my house without protective gear during this pandemic was very rude I will never use the service again and I will be calling the manager. I cannot believe this disrespect....

Russell, is great to work with. I've had two instances where I used them. I needed an expensive automotive vehicle transponder key cut/flashed. Flatirons has always been cost effective and efficient in getting my requested work done quickly. I will definitely be working with them again for our locksmith needs.

Highly recommend! I locked my keys in my car as I was getting out of the car for work. I shortly called flatiron locksmiths and said they could be at my work in 20-30 minutes. They werent lying! They arrived in 30 mins or less. David was very kind and friendly and did the job in about 5 minutes. I felt very well taken care of. Thank you!

I contacted Flatirons Locksmiths and within an hour Russell met me on a Sunday morning to help me gain access to my home. I was so thankful. And FL charges the same for a weekend call as a weekday call and I was super thankful for that, too.

We had several broken key cases to our Honda Pilot and needed to get them laser cut (surprisingly not all locksmiths are able to do this.). Flatirons Locksmith was able to and I had a great experience - they came out to my office and copied two new keys the same morning that I called. Had a locked 1998 BMW 323Is and no one else could get into the car, the nice guy who tried for a while from Buffalo Key and lock suggested Flatirons and today Robin one of the mobile techs did an OUTSTANDING job of picking the lock on the passengers side door. I didnt think he would be able to get in there but he did not give up and went way beyond what I feel no one else would have. I highly recommend these guys if you have an older BMW. Thank you so much!!

If you need a locksmith in Boulder county, you should absolutely call Flatirons. Russell was great to work with from start to finish, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again. He was friendly, the prices were fair, and the service was great!I needed a new key made for a very old car to which I had lost all other keys. When I called, Russell gave me a quote upfront and that was the price I ended up paying - there were no hidden fees or charges. Russell came right out the same day I called and got the key made for me. It wasn't the easiest process, and Russell took more than an hour out of his (surely very busy) day to help me. At the end of all that time, the fee was still the same - he didn't charge me more because it took him longer than expected.Throughout the process, I felt like Russell was really committed to helping me. He easily could have told me that it was too complicated or he didn't have time, but instead he patiently worked through the process of making me a key, chatting pleasantly with me the entire time. Flatirons has great customer service, fair prices, and is very good at what they do!

I'm a little disappointed. I locked myself out early this morning, and waited til 7am to call Flatirons Locksmiths, which was their 'opening' time. It ended up taking almost 2 hours just to get in contact with the locksmith, despite the original ETA of 20-30 minutes when I first called. I waited about an hour before calling for an update, after which I was given another ETA of 20-30 minutes. It wasn't until a third call 45 minutes later that I finally got in touch with the locksmith.To be fair, I was originally connected with an 'overflow' dispatcher center, so there is no way of knowing what the contact was between them and the locksmith. Regardless, it did ruin my plans for the day, and I just wish there was better communication. Apparently there were cell phone reception issues, which I can understand, but I was hoping that I could at least get the service call fee waived due to the hassle... Either way, Russell (the locksmith) is a really nice guy, and was very quick when he got here. I believe I also used him a few summers ago, and had a flawless experience. So I'm hoping that this was just a fluke, and I will definitely be giving them another chance!

my laser-cut mercedes key is not easy to find or cut, in fact most locksmiths I called could not or would not do it. But Russel at flatirons ( our locksmith), was able to source it and cut it perfectly at my car's site. Since it was an older model and a luxury car, i felt certain that most locksmiths would try to take me for a ride, but when Russel gave me the bill I found the cost was extremely reasonable and not only that - he was naturally friendly and explained things very thoroughly. The # for flatirons is now programmed in my phone just in case!!

Call these people! Not only is Russell super sweet but he is very helpful & gives you a flat rate fee no hidden fees nothing! All the other places were so rude and seemed like they were ready to get off the clock not only that, nobody seemed like they could give me a quote. My girlfriend locked her keys out of her car last night. This morning we called around to many different locksmiths in the area, basically just to get the run around on a price. Flatirons Locksmiths and Russell in particular have renewed my faith in the industry. He gave us a straight price with no BS and arrived on time and had her on the road again in a flash. I was in Erie visiting a friend when I locked my keys in my van. My call was met with a very friendly gentleman (can't remember his name) who was able to come right out within 15 minutes of the call and spent no more than 5 minutes getting into my van. He was also able to make an extra key with a chip in it on the spot. I felt the pricing was very fair for thd level of service I recived.
