I received fantastic,prompt service from this company. I purchased a car that had a faulty ignition switch.John came out promptly and worked on the car on a Saturday afternoon. Josh and John returned on Sunday to finish what had become the job from hell. They fixed the ignition switch and the drivers door lock. I appreciate the work that they did,and the very reasonable amount I was charged for a difficult job. Way above and beyond.

I highly recommend pop a lock, especially josh!! I had a hard time for the longest trying to get a key fob for my car, after going through amazon where they had wrongful information, Josh worked on my car for an hour to finally realize that we had ordered the wrong key fob due to amazon mistake. He then showed us on which was the proper one and came back a couple of days later and programmed it!! He is phenomenal! He really knows what he is doing, he makes sure everything is done right, as he was doing everything he ended up teaching me something about my own car. Great attitude and actually made my day better!! Thank you pop a lock and a special thanks to you Josh!!

Josh from Pop-A-Lock was on time and extremely personable. He actually was able to get the old smart keep for my Jeep to work with a quick check and fiddling with the connectors, something the dealership did not bother to even look at when they told me the SmartKey was dead and had to be replaced. I went ahead and had him program the replacement SmartKey which he tested and verified all of the button functions and and then cut the manual key and tested to make sure everything was functional. All in it took him all of 15 mins and it was done. I would highly recommend going this route as it is a lot more convenient and straight forward than the dealership path. Would use them again in a heart beat.

I had locked my keys in my car, as it was an early early morning for work and thought I had my keys. The campus police at the school of Mines suggested Pop-a-Lock. Unfortunately I was not happy with the service was received. On November 15th, I had to call three times. The first time seemed like the guy I was talking to was putting all the information into the system, I told him I was in the front row of this parking lot the exact lot and location I was at, he proceeded to say the technician will call and will take about 35 to 40 minutes to get to me. I did not get that phone call, nor did someone come within that time frame. I waited an hour after the first phone call to call back. When I called back, the guy on the phone couldn't find my activity in the system which I thought was outrageous since the guy previously took all the information and gave me an estimate time on an arrival. They guy had to take all my information AGAIN, and told me the technician will call me and will give me an estimate time, I waited 20 minutes after that phone call for a call from the technician, never got it. I called back and instead of the technician he just sent me a message on where the technician was and how long. I was upset cause I had to call three times when I should have been done right the first time. The technician took longer then the estimated time and I watched him drive by and park in the wrong lot and just sat there instead of looking for the location I specifically gave the guy, nor did he call me. I was not happy, he came over after I gave him my location for the 5th time through the link I was sent. It cost 75$ for something that took him less than two minutes to do. Yes I paid for the service of something someone is skilled in, but he didn't have change for the $80 I had. Which made me even more upset because I dont think you guys deserve that extra money for the poor service. Even though it was $5 you dont deserve it.

And they were very reasonable with the price. Josh was so knowledgeable and helpful. My Subaru had a worn out key that should have worked in the ignition and the door but did not. Used pop a lock with my road side, do to a computer error on pop a locks end it showed job was complete without them showing up. My wife called and lady on phone was rude, said well it shows as done so nothing I can do call verizon (road side with hum) or pay for them to come out. Was very rude and upset my wife, we did get ahold of verizon and pop a lock did come out the guy that came out was very good and professional. Unlock car fast and called before hand to apologize for the Computer issue. 1 star as the lady picking up phones was rude and unprofessional rather then apologizing and finding a solotion, wanted us to pay a 2ed time.Updateing to 4 stars as the local Supervisor l, and guy that unlocked the van called and apologized for the call center issues and will be following up to see what happend.

These guys have bailed me out twice, both times lost my keys, we had a van, called around and two companies came out one left me with a two hundred dollar bill and told me they would come back, second made me a key to my sliding door and ignition only, given it was a two key system it was a pain in the neck, anyway lost those keys on a job and called Pop a lock they had a key for all doors and ignition within a half hour, second time we lost keys to our Toyota decided to call them again and Josh was at our place within a half hour and had us two keys made within an hour, it was hassle free, couldnt be happier with a company thanks Josh! Now if we could just stop losing keys

This review is late coming, but the impression Kyle made on me is long-lasting. He was very genuine, friendly, extremely competent, and even helped me find resources that could help me before I would need to pay for his services! When I get locked out or need other lock-related services, there is NO ONE ELSE I will call. Period. Most of the other services I called to get quotes were offensively expensive, not personable or professional, and required payment reguardless of if they fixed the issue or not. Kyle, thanks for making me believe that there are in decent, capable repairmen in the world again.
