EL&K never disappoints. The staff is very knowledgeable. I work in the commercial maintenance field and they continue to educate me in a field that I have limited knowledge in. Very knowledgeable staff. Generational owner with experienced staff offering residential and commercial locks and handles. They also carry American Standard safes and keys and re-key locks. Excellent selection, great experience finding exactly what I needed with expert service and direction. They can also open safes, cars and home locks with documentation. A+++

Highly Recommended! Great experience. He arrived on time, re-keyed my home locks, and went. All in probably ~20 minutes. The guy also fixed one of my door knobs for free. It probably only took him a minute or two to fix, but he didn't have to do that. He also showed me how to reprogram my smart lock that was on my door when I purchased the home earlier that day. The only locksmith that i've use since I moved here and will probably be the only one.

We went to get a lock re-keyed. I expected a tiny storefront, dusty and dark, with one old man at a workbench. No way, this place was hopping! Lots of helpful and knowledgeable staff, plenty of light, quick service and good prices. Any lock or key needs, this is our place.

A large variety of safes are on-site too in a range of prices.This store also sells tiny key post earrings, lock necklace & matching braclet in both gold, silver & copper versions. The sale benefits the prevention of homeless.

I don't go to these guys very often. But when I do I'm never disappointed . Had a vintage key safe that 3 other places couldn't find a blank to make a duplicate key. Went here and the only question they asked was how many keys I needed. Don't waste your time searching. Go to these guys.

Apparently no employees here have an ounce of customer service(Spoke to 4 different employees). Very rude. Even when going in to BUY a safe..not 'looking around'.. seems like no one cared at all. Not about the purchase or about their job. Not knowledgeable, couldn't anwer simply questions. Had to go back because the employee who checked me out was so lacking that he forgot something we needed. I had HIGH hopes going into a place that's been open for so long, yet this will be my last time fooling with an incompetent company. I want to add that no genuine kindness existed in this store, so sad.

Called to get a price for unlocking a house of an elderly, blind woman I volunteer for who doesnt have much in terms of financial resources. She had locked herself out and had no way of getting in. Without skipping a beat they said theyd be over in 10 minutes at no charge to help her out. The locksmiths were two professional guys who had the job done in less than 5 minutes.

If i could give more than 5 stars i absolutely would. We had to re key our complex because we had to kick someone out of our home and we did not feel safe knowing they could return at any point and walk right in because they still had a key. We initially called and they said they could do it in 2 days but once i told them the situation and how we didnt feel safe they sent someone in a hour. It was fast and easy process and the gentlemen that came were very kind and awesome to work with. Beyond grateful for everything you guys are amazing and you guys really made big difference in our lives today. I know i sound like a record machine repeating myself but i will forever be grateful for the great service your company provided for us today

This company beyond exceeded my expectations. I was referred to them after a tire company broke my key in half. Not only did the tire company decline liability but just getting to them was a mission. After they over heard my ordeal with the other company on the phone, Cody came out and informed me they would be giving me the key at no fee. Literally that was the highlight of my day. Mike was awesome too. He instructed me on how to program the new key for my car since it wasn't present at the time of my visit. They were easy and simple instructions. Our vehicle turned off at the parking lot and wouldn't start and they even jumped started it for me. They really made me feel like a valued customer even though I didn't purchase the service I requested. I will definitely return to them and refer my friends and family. Thank you for making my day! I stop today to cut a key and program a remote...and sorprise....only cut the key for $60 dollars...one guy maybe wonner or manager hit the desk very engry went i explain....the last time cut and program the remote...for same price....its expensive and all people at this place its not frendly ...not recomended this place

The people here are trained to approach issues a specific way and would not cooperate with what I had asked. I brought two of my own keys but the man helping me would not let me use both my own keys without taking the one that he first made for me. Then he overcharged me $8 for two key tags, I only noticed after the transaction went through after realizing the price did not sound right. Extremely disappointed in their service. I sat for 30-40 minutes without much explanation as to what they were doing while making my key for me.
