He claims to return call within 5 minutes. Here I am 3 days and multiple phone calls later. I even asked him to return my calls and let me know if he wasnt interested. Nothing. I guess he is either too busy or in competent. I was referred to him by a friend. I moved on and got my car key made by someone else. They showed up within the hour and made me a second key for free. Some jackwagon tried to steal my bike while it was locked to my bike rack on my truck. Thankfully, he didn't succeed in getting my bike, but he did damage my u-lock such that I couldn't get it off. Called Danny, he was there the same day, and he cut it off in about 5 minutes (which is both great and terrifying - that was an expensive, heavy-duty u-lock). Nice guy, responsive, clearly knows what he's doing. Highly recommended!

I couldn't get into my truck from the driver door anymore, couldn't open the gas door, and it was not great trying to get in the passenger door. My poor old truck. The problem was simply that the key (both copies) had worn down so much they couldn't turn anything. He heard me out (which, as it turns out, can be a challenge with locksmiths, that has been my lesson in all this), he came to me while I worked, he solved the problem for a very reasonable price, and he accompanied me to the truck to ensure everything worked as it should, in each spot. He also took a moment to lube up my passenger door lock and gas door lock. I very much appreciated his quick service, convenience, reasonable price, pleasant demeanor, and expertise! Recommend!

As a owner of an auto repair shop, one of the essentials to our services is getting our customers in and out efficiently and timely. We had a mishap that put us in a position that we needed to get a vehicle re-keyed and as soon as possible. Danny Joe's got to us with in a few hours (he had other bookings in front of us) and went straight to work. Amazing service and just a nice guy! I lost my keys parked downtown. I called a dozen locksmiths and got rude receptionists, insanely high estimates, and no empathy in a very stressful situation. I had an awesome experience with Danny Joe's Lock and Key! Danny was very pleasant and easy to talk to. called in the evening and explained that I needed to get into my car and my trunk as I had no trunk release. I asked if it was after hours for pricing. Danny gave me the regular daytime price of $40 because I called around five and that's usually when after hours start. I mentioned over the phone that I actually had no key in my possession and didn't want one because I was selling my car to a junkYard and just needed access to my things inside the car. Danny understood and did not push the selling of a $120 key on me which I very much appreciate as some business owners can be over whelming with that type of up sell. Danny even went as far to help deiaconnect my car battery to keep the alarm from going off! He just a genuinely good man running an honest and wonderful family business! Five stars for sure!

Joe is just a good honest guy doing as good a job as a kid or his customers. So many Bs aggregators out there that I have to pay five different people for every service. The process was not flawless because of a weird issue with my car but Joe got it resolved and then cut me a couple free keys to boot. I rent a storage locker from U-haul in south west Denver. I've been dealing with a rather tumultuous living situation (to say the least) over the past week. Being on a PAINFULLY TIGHT budget, and knowing how OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive locksmiths can be losing the key which unlocks my storage unit was the last thing I needed. I tried several places, all were way beyond my means.I finally contacted someone who was reasonably priced. However, when he arrived, he drove off, without explanation. I later learned via their 800 number, it was because I couldn't PRODUCE the paperwork to PROVE I was the rightful renter of that storage unit! The paperwork was locked up in the storage unit. I had I'D. All he needed to do was take my I'D call the 24 hour customer service 800#, give them my name. They verify it, then look again at my state I'D card to ensure the name and picture matched, FOOL!!!) Growing even more desperate, I googled other numbers. I called the number for DANNY JOE'S LOCK & KEY. Other than the fact he arrived a little later than he told me when we spoke on the phone, it was fine with me. He tenaciously worked to get that lock off of my unit (and it was a TOUGH lock to remove). The force and different tools needed to remove that lock caused some minor damage to the unit. He not only repaired it, but he re-aligned the casing which held the lock which made it easier to lock and unlock the unit than when I first rented it last week. He was also a very polite pleasant young man. With such excellent customer service, skill and REASONABLE RATES, I'd recommend him to anyone and EVERYONE who finds themselves in need of a a lock smith! Keep up the GOOD WORK DANNY JOE'S LOCK AND KEY!!! Your customer service and customer satisfaction (according to this site, it appears you have a number of highly satisfied customers), which should help you go FAR in your business.

Danny came to my house to make a spare key for my Nissan. He showed up 45 minutes late and brought what appear to be his girlfriend with him. With no apology for his tardiness or explaination of the guest who would be hanging out in my car he told me it would take him 15-20 minutes to do. An hour later he came to my door and told me he did not have the right fobe to do my car. So an hour and half later I did not have the spare key and decided to give him another chance to come back and do my key. He was suppose to come a week later and never showed up for our scheduled appointment. He seemed to have no idea have to make the fobe for my car and was extremely unprofessional in wasting two of my mornings as is sat and waited for him to not provide me any service. If you don't want your time to be wasted than don't call Danny Joe!!!
