We love this pier. My son has been fishing here since he was 4 years old. We are just sad that the reconstruction has been taking so long to complete. Its been frustrating to watch it drag on for the past three years. We still hope that it will be restored to his old glory soon.

We had breakfast here on our last day at the beach. It is a great laid back location. The coffee and the food were both and good and they were reasonably priced. The patio sits directly on the beach so the views are awesome. This restaurant is a bit dated and could use a remodel. Service is fast but not so friendly. We would go back since the food is fine and the views are awesome!

$2 to walk the pier seems like a steal. You will have spectacular views back towards the town square, up and down the coast, and deep under the water. We saw tons of little fish and some slightly scary big fish from this vantage point. We had a very nice chat with a local fisherman on the pier who helped identify some of the fish we were seeing. Very entertaining.

Terrible pier! During this covid crisis they state everyone has to wear a mask but they are not enforcing it. You pay $7 to fish get a bracelet only to see so many others who obviously didn't pay yo fish who are fishing.I'll go fish for free in places l know are better safer and not full of this type of bs.

My husband enjoyed brunch here twice while our stay in Luderdale by the Sea. The food is great, Beach Punch is an amazing brunch beverage, and the staff is top notch so friendly and inviting. I can't forget the ocean view that was pretty amazing as well! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The beach around the Pier is very nice. It costs 2 dollars just to get into the Pier and 7 to fish from the Pier. I'm not sure if it's worth it, since there are other piers around town you can use for free

Full priced fishing costs for around half a pier. Unless you're ready to fight three people with twenty rods in the water, you're better off going to Deerfield's Pier. Cleaner, cheaper, and more space.Also, it's cash only, and they'll make sure to tell you that half the pier has been under construction for over two years now after you pay. Can't back charge and there's no refunds.It'll be a very good place to fish again once it's up and running fully, but there's been no hurry on that.

The bartender is the worst. I still come for the Lobster roll. If you order to go is at the bar. I go to a table and order to go. I do this because the bartender is the worst person I've ever met. He definitely needs to stay in New York, and stop coming here to Florida. He is corrupting our beautiful town

I just moved down here to Lauderdale by The Sea I go to the beach regularly next to this Pier I have gone on the pier and I had breakfast at the restaurant on the pier it is a very beautiful and relaxing place I highly recommed visiting

Charges you 2 bucks to walk on the pier...Thought that was a ripe off considering we didn't have fishing rods in our hands. Just tourists going for a walk.

A pretty big nice pier, or it would be, half of it has been closed for an extended time. The fee just to walk out on the little stump is kind of embarrassing, but having to have two dollars per person at the beach is a pain and the value just isn't there.That is unless you fish. The people fishing there reported good success at the time and the spot in general. If you are walking the fishing is kept very clean. Looking forward to a reopening.

This is a terrible ran restaurant. Very Sketchy. Had a group of 16 people and they refused to split the check up and yelled at us and cussed us out trying to fight when doing nothing but trying to pay. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone. a joke.

Went to actually walk the pier to see people fishing and paid $4 for 2 people to walk maybe 300 ft. And back since half of it is closed towards the end. Spent more time writing this review than the time I was there. If I would have known this I would have not come.West Coast, Naples, Sunny Isles and Miami Beach are better and dont have to waste your money.P.S.I dont like to give negative reviews, but after approaching the guy in the front which he showed me a sign saying under construction and not saying half of it closed with a nasty attitude, I decided to let everyone know.

That you have to pay to walk on the pier and the guy that collects that 2 bucks is extremely rude. Its a rip off. Lbs is a wonderful town they even give you free parking on Thanksgiving, you would think they would wave the $2 fee and get rid of the obnoxious attendant

Love this Pier! Very upbeat, famous, with many favorite place to eat or drink. Had many beautiful memories there. Wish the people just a bit more clean and not that lazy, and they could make 2-3 steps until the trash can and not littering.. could be much nicer, much more beautiful place for sure.

Nice views of the beach. Pier partly under repair at second half to the end, not able to go to the end of pier. $2 fee for sightseers seems fair as money goes to repairs and maintenance. Friendly counter staff.

Horrible experience. We did not have cash on us it was 4$ I only have a credit and or debit card on hand I rarely carry cash anymore. They wouldnt even let us in pretty sad not to offer anything else. Unfortunately I will not recommend

The pier itself was nice, but there were under aged teens fishing, being loud, and running up and down the pier chasing fish. This is not a place to go if you want actual peace and quiet. The rods were a little expensive to rent, but overall, it was not bad. At least they were in good condition.

I like the outdoor area with live music. Seafood is good quality. The attention is great. I went with a Groupon and they offered me their best plates and they were. Crab cakes are delicious. Its right at the pier, which gives it a beautiful view

Excellent location for a day at the beachfront. Grab your family, friends or just head on over for you time. Lots of fun and friendly people fishing and enjoying the cafe. Eat in the restaurant or right on the pier. Currently under construction and likely understandably as conditions for repairs must be daunting: current's,visibility,existing marine life, the all encompassing biosphere down there. Limited allowable live load capacity so no trip to the tip of the structure allowed. Fun to be had any how, just like the surrounding area's common & extraordinary habitats.Like a fine meal, don't rush and do it perfectly. Thanks for the MEMORIES!!!

Same pier my friends and I spent many hours fishing and swimming around, now has a fancy cafe in the front, always had a great diner style restaurant, where you would be comfortable noshing on an order of fries and a coke, now charges patrons a $2 sightseeing fee just to set foot on the pier. Sad to see a local hangout turn into a tourist trap.

SUPERB!!!!!! This IS what Florida is about. My biggest regret is not finding it sooner. Whether a tourist or local, this is the place to find fresh fish. Food was above expectations and the views fed my soul! From the industrial lighting to the coastal breeze, everything played to my senses

Love fishing piers, but was a little disappointed that I still had to pay to walk on the pier when half the pier is closed. But its so nice to just sit and watch people fish or even people watch. Just make sure to pay attention to people fishing so you dont get whacked by a fishing pole. I love sitting and people watching from the pier and you cant beat the views. They need to do something with charging if only half of the pier is open.
