I just to the neighborhood and needed a specific style drill bit so I googled Ace because I knew someone would be able to help me find the bit I needed. I just love Ace, no matter which one I go to, I always encounter a friendly face and knowledgeable staff. This location was no different. The crew that helped me was fabulous.

The manager James is probably the rudest person I've ever encountered in retail shopping. If that's the best manager they can find then I wont shop there. The customer in front of you is who u should talk to and help not the next guy . Oh well went to lowes and spent 10$ less then at ace. Wont be shocked when they out of business. Overpriced and bad customer service.

I visited Mt Dora Ace Hardware to get what I needed to clean my house and shed . I had some questions about detergents that could be used with a pressure washer . Young Tayler stepped up and delivered with awesome service and a smile . Kylie set me up with my ace rewards card and I am sure to wear that card out . Awesome experience !!!!

Forget Lowe's. Out of a lot. Ave had everything we needed. Only 2 on the floor so to load the car it took a little while. No big problem. Not much more $$$.

Personally I don't like being overwhelmed by many sales associates. Stopped in for propane and a couple of things. Five employees asked to assist me, 3 at the same time! I ended up forgetting a couple of things while answering all the same questions to multiple people.

They have a sale going on. Well they are out of some of the sale items. Oh but we do rainnchecks, if you will go ahead and pay for the items on the list. We will pull them when the truck comes and you are guaranteed the items We will call you and let you know when that happens. Good idea NAW we were going by the store about 2pm Sat.and decided to stop in to check if the truck had came in. Yes sir, the truck had came that morning. Everything was on the truck that you had prepaid for except one item. Great I thought, paid for eight different items on the rain check in advance. We got two items that were on the list. Had to get a refund. A hassle within itself. Wife steaming mad cause we didn't get what we had prepaid for. Guaranteed to get. What the heck is going on here. I will guarantee one thing it will not happen again from us. If Lowe's does not have it we do without before going back to Ace is place. It not either believe me.
