Made an appointment for 9am to have the sales team provide a quote. By 9:15am, we did not receive a call, voicemail, email, etc. to advise that the appointment was cancelled/postponed. We contacted the office and Lisa in dispatch was rude. She repeatedly interrupted and talked over myself and my partner. She also advised that the 9am appointment was for a window of 9am-11am. This was not discussed in my original phone call when the appointment was made. The dishonesty and lack of customer service has resulted in my choosing to use another contractor.

So glad that we were recommended here. Have had nonstop problems with our car key since we purchased the car and they were able to take care of our issue and make us a new key for a great price. Staff was so kind and friendly and explained everything to us we are so glad we drove from Port Richey to this location. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone for lock and key needs. They also program keys for an awesome price everything was great wonderful experience and will only use these guys from now on! Thanks so much for your help!

Placed an order for a Liberty Safe and two dial Illuminators. When safe was delivered Ed tells me they had to order the Illuminators. Ok no problem. Months go by and nothing. Follow up and I was told they were on backorder and I would have them soon. The next day a label for UPS was created and shipped. Days go by and nothing, mind you my house is literally 45 mins away from the store. Call again get told oh its sitting here on my desk. Finally receive the box and they only shipped one Illuminator, I ordered two. I call they apologize we will send another. Week goes by nothing. Call Ed says he will order it. Two weeks go by nothing. Call again Ed says he will ship it out tomorrow. This was 12/3 its now 12/7 and youll never guess I got nothing. 3 months spent chasing a dial Illuminator. Just to get the run around by the owner Ed. Shame on me for spending 5,000 dollars in safes with this company. Never again will I deal with these clowns.

Every time I come to try and get keys made cause the keys I have cant be copied anywhere but a locksmith. They are closed and never open when their hours say they should be. Ive tried coming here for weeks but never open.

I should've called Action first and saved time. Called one locksmith and was told they would most likely need to destroy the safe to get it open. Called another and am still waiting for them to return my call. Called yet another that told me I'd have to wait 3 days for service. Called ACTION LOCK & SAFE, brought my safe to them and walked out 20 min later. The safe was unlocked, no damage at all, keypad batteries were replaced and I got 2 new keys all for a FRACTION of what I was quoted by another locksmith. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PRICES!!!!

I called with an emergency, my two year old had locked himself in the bathroom. The phone rep Kim was so calm and kind as I was near hysterics worries about my child. There was a locksmith David to our home within 15 min who quickly got the door opened and made sure we were both safe and ok before leaving. I've been a customer of Action Lock & Safe for over 16 years. Yesterday I went in to get a duplicate key made. After arriving home and checking the key did not fit. I went back to the store to get it corrected. The owner himself not only handled the matter but carefully made 2 keys (which both fit), apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a $10 coupon for my next visit. Now that's quality customer service! And WHY I've been a customer for over 16 years. . .

I was very disappointed in the customer service. Someone else hired them to come into my home and move a safe that the person had purchased from me. A man and a teenager showed up. The man was not very pleasant, and acted like he was in a total rush. Once he got the safe out of the bedroom and was wheeling it towards the door, I saw from my office as the teenager opened up a closed (and latched) door to a different bedroom and looked around. When I brought this to the man's attention, he proceeded to tell me that 'he's a trustworthy kid, so I'm not worried about it'. Well, that is NOT the point. The point is he invaded my privacy and had absolutely NO business looking into that room. I should've said something to the kid right there on the spot, but I was too stunned. I am appalled that the man did not even apologize to me, and instead minimized my feelings. I will never recommend this company to anyone I know.

This company moved 2 big Liberty President safes for me from one city to mine a distance of approximately 90 miles one way. I bought the safes from a lady who was very difficult to deal with. These guys were so careful by the time they were done she asked for their card. Move went very smoothly. Staff was anxious to go the extra mile for me and price was fair. Highly recommend.

I found a locksmith for life!I stopped by Action lock last week to have an auto chip key cut that I had purchased online due to the high prices at most locksmiths. The technician made an error on cutting the cheap key and it would not start the car. He spoke with the manager and they went ahead and cut a factory ( expensive ) key to replace my key and It worked. The second key was difficult to cut for some reason but they finally got it right. I was afraid to ask how much but they would not take my money because they made me wait so long. Great customer service.

Had 2 special key blade blanks ordered with Dave. Was told it would be 'just a couple days before they came in.' I asked if I just came back next Saturday--7 days from purchase--if they'd be in? Dave said, 'for sure, by then.' I called in this morning to make sure the keys Dave sent for were in, was told there was a half dozen of the key blade blanks I needed. Drove in from Clearwater and they're not there. Apparently they will be in next Tuesday or Thursday at latest. The excuse given: 'We did that to save money on shipping.' This place is unprofessional and doesn't know how to care for a customer. I told the guy there how much trouble this was, that I drove from Clearwater just to do this errand today, and he didn't even offer to compensate me for the trouble. Just, 'well I can't make the keys arrive any quicker.' Thanks bud. That really eases the frustration. It just screams incompetence and having some other purpose besides actually giving a good service. They're unorganized and uncaring. Negative characteristics I would never want in a company expecting me to trust them with securing my valuables. I was considering buying a safe from them and having it installed before this, but now I think I will be shopping elsewhere. This is not a review of their technical ability or knowledge, this is just about their service standards, something which comes ahead of the prior values in importance.
