The locksmith was absolutely a professional From the first phone call to their office until the time he arrived on site (less than 2 hours) - the entire process was flawless. We had a key stuck in a faulty lock of the deadlock on the front door. Instead of cutting the key off, drilling it out and possibly further damaging the lock, he suggested making entrance into the home through window to determine if it could be unlocked from inside. Unfortunately, it could not! But, well he was manipulating the lock from inside I was using my magic touch on the key outside... voila' the key finally came out! Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. Even with the key out, and turning the handle from inside, the deadbolt still would not open. The locksmith then crawled back out the same window he crawled in (stretching his toes to reach the top of the ladder) and began working on finessing (aka 'picking') the lock. Within minutes he had it open. As if that isn't enough - he spent a few minutes researching this make / model of lock and discovered there had been a manufacturer's recall for this very problem. We are not certain yet, but believe the cost of replacing this lock will be covered by the manufacturer.

Key broke on camper door lock day before Thanksgiving with dog inside and family outside at 4:30. I called he said bring it by and he could make a copy of the broken key. I let him know we were 30 min away and he waited after hours for me. The copy worked and Thanksgiving was saved. I still wish I could have left him a larger tip, as the cost was from a time period long forgotten. I will bring this man lunch if I am ever near Titusville again. Thank you!

Nice to have professionals available. Key copies are a similar price to the big box stores but these people know how to tweak things if needed. Have you ever had trouble getting a big box store key copy to work right? Instead, have these folks make the copy. If you have a lock giving you trouble, bring the cylinder with you and they may be able to just replace worn pins to give it new life and/or to be sure the key copies work.

So we decided that it was time to replace the deadbolt on our house to a more secure one. After hours of struggle trying to install this lock, my fiance and I came to the conclusion we needed professional help. We called A-1 locksmith here in town. Not only did they come out the very next day (to our surprise), they arrived exactly at the time promised (another surprise) and the gentleman who did the install was super nice, very professional, and obviously cared about the task at hand. I was more than satisfied with our experience. In addition, they also charged much less than we had anticipated.

I was in WV and my wife was in CO. It was 4:15pm and my wife gave the wrong key to the neighbor to feed the cat. My wife panicked of course. Called Joe and he couldn't pick the lock -- it is the un-pickable kind. I sent him a picture of my key and he made a duplicate and opened the house. He had come over pretty quick. I highly recommend A-1, they are, well, A-1 in my book.

My wife and I moved here to Titusville and needed our locks changed. A1 sent a technician to get the job done fast. We also had a floor safe that we needed the combo for its use. The technician took the tumbler mechanism and said he would have to work on it at the shop. Another technician, Matt, came back later with the tumbler and the combo. While he was here, we had a few more lock problems to be addressed. These problems were done by the next day. Overall, A1 has been thorough, professional and reliable. We were more than pleased with the results of their work. We were also suprised with the very affordable prices for all their labors. If you ever need a locksmith service, A1 should be your first choice.

I had a key made for my scooter it worked fine for a few weeks then the key broke off in my ignition and stranded me in the middle of nowhere and I coudnt get to work and got fired from my job and I ran out of gas and could not get gas cause it takes the same key. I dont trust this locksmiths keys
