Terrible service. He replaced my friends ignition and with what he said was a new key. And he said he would warranty if if we had any issues. One year later my key got stuck in the ignition so we called him and he said he would not warranty it. So we called another locksmith and they came out and told me the key he have us was a terribly filed key that wasn't quite right. So they took the ignition apart and it was all jacked up too from the 'new' key that he cut. So they gave me a new ignition and a code cut key that works way better then it has ever worked. The other locksmith said they are confused why any real locksmith would replace an ignition and not give a code cut key because the other key will just wear it out quicker. Terrible service and doesn't stick to his word. I posted some photos of his so called new key and the code cut key the other locksmith gave me

WOW!!! Describes my experience. Details:I bought an older toolbox at a public auction to mount on a utility trailer. The box has 2 locking mechanisms, but did not come with the keys. I called the nearby hardware store and asked if they made keys. They didn't provide this service, but they do make duplicates, if you have a key. It's getting close to 5:00 p.m., and I'm calculating that I'm going to have to locate a full service locksmith in Caldwell or Nampa, (the next closest service area), so I go to the internet and Google Search, 'locksmiths near me', so I can get it done today. (If you're still following this, and have located this business listing, I'm about to provide you the, 'reason for my WOW rating.)To my surprise, Treasure Valley Lockmasters, LLC, is listed, is located in Marsing, ID., AND is open until 6:00 p.m.! I called and spoke with the locksmith, Derek. He asked a couple of questions about what I needed, application, manufacturer, and lock mechanism identifying markings, etc.. Derek has a very well stocked, inventory mobile unit, is conscientious, professional, is located in an area where his services are sparse to non-existent, AND is available after 5:00 p.m.!!!! Oh yeah, if you need 2 keys for that lock, the 2nd. key is complimentary!!! WOW!!!!!Thank you Derek!!!! CALL THIS BUSINESS, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID! Spread the word, and leave a review. Local businesses, like this Lockmaster, and others in our rural communities, need and deserve our support.
