Quick, skilled, dependable, and honest! We went outside for a quick walk, then found we were locked out of our house. Called a '24 hour service' for a quote but they never showed up. Van's, on the other hand, is a local place - Dan answered the phone, got our address, and was here (personally!) in no time. He picked the lock and had us back in our house before the rain came. When he was finished, he chatted with us for a minutes about the neighborhood. Suxh a genuine, nice guy.Call Van's - you will not regret it! Amazing, speedy service at a fair price.

I had left my key in my house. They came very quickly, and after trying to get my front door unlocked, he went to my back door and had it unlocked in seconds. To top it off he DROPPED the price I was quoted by TWENTY DOLLARS! Hopefully I will NEVER do something THAT stupid again, but if I do, Van's will get the call.

Dan came New Year's Eve morning on short notice to re key all of my locks. He was right on time, quick, professional and very reasonable. He was also very kind! He gave me some homemade fudge his family made for the holidays and it was delicious.

Called and scheduled a appointment to get a key fob programmed. The lady who answered was friendly and kind. The gentlemen who did the programming was very professional great all around very friendly helped put the fob together and had it done and programmed in under 10 mins. I would recommend this place to anyone who ever needs a car fob programmed or any other key issues.

Needed to get a car remote programmed and a new car key made. Vans was extremely nice on the phone, and even suggested I check the battery on the remote before bringing it over, in case it was a bad battery instead of a programming issue. I called ahead and they told me to come by in an hour when the locksmith would be back - I appreciate a business that values their customers' time. When I arrived, I was there only 10 minutes. Super easy and extremely inexpensive, especially compared to the dealerships that charge $70+ for programming! Vans only charged me $20 and ~$4 for the key. Will definitely look to them for any key needs in the future!

Putting my groceries away i locked my keys in the trunk! The gentleman who answered was asking me the right questions over the phone about the trunk release lever/button to make sure we would be able to open the trunk through the seats. Was able to help me within 20 minutes! Great guy who helped me! Love the fact that it's family owned. He even let me know they could help getting me extra keys for my car!

We are currently in the process of selling our home and left for the Thanksgiving Holiday thinking theres no way folks will request a showing. Well after we locked up the house, all the doors including the storm door to access the realtors key box, and were 2 hours away we got a request for a showing. I googled locksmiths and Vans came up. I spoke with the team over the phone about our issue and they quickly dispatched to our home. Once there we talked about options and they were able to quickly get the job done and left the spare key with our realtor. They were prompt in our emergency and kept in contact through all the steps. I cannot day enough about the awesome response and customer service. We are very pleased with the team and will use them again if needed. Thanks again!!!

My boyfriend and I came in to get a replacement key for his car. The family that runs the shop are extremely helpful and friendly! Had a great time talking about the history of the shop and showed us pics of their restored cars while we were waiting! I was quoted by other shops for double the price. Wish I could do zero stars.I had keys locked in my car. I did the online scheduling with Van's and never heard back (even though it said I would within 1/2 hour). I then called them almost 2 hours later and the man who answered was rude to me. I could tell he was not going to be friendly the minute he answered the phone- he must be having a bad day. I told him my issue and he asked me a question which I didn't clearly hear so I said 'sorry?' and he, in an annoying and rude way said 'What kind of car??' Never again.

Old school Mom and Pop locksmith that will do it right! I was sent to 2 other locksmiths before finally someone recommend Van's. I had keys from 1973 VW Beetle that I needed copied and they had the correct blanks. Great service and price. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend coming here first!

Great experience i got pregnacy brain lol and forgot my keys in my car. They were so courteous and fast. Plus cheapest the other places i called told me it would be almost double what vans lock and key service charged me or gave me the run around and said $30 just for them to come out and look at it and then they would tell me how much it was going to cost plus 2 hour wait. Had two broken door latches. I called for an appointment and spoke with Nick who set things up, gave me a 'guestimate' even though there was no way for him to know exactly what was wrong but assured me they'd do their best. John came on-time and even though he didn't have the part needed on the truck (which Nick told me might happen) it didn't take him long to run out to get it. Two fixed locks for about $100! Great deal, great service. Support a local family business!!
