This place is not worth going as they are not trustworthy. I needed a key cut for my 2011 VW Jetta so I call them for a possibility. Owner name Jason told me to bring in a blank key as they do not have a blank key. Jason said they will cut the key for us. I ordered online a blank key and brought the blank key in for cut. Cut key did not work and now they are giving me all sort of run around that I do not have control over. They told me to bring in another blank key and there is no grantee that will work when I already spent $8 for a blank key. Their cut keys are 99% accurate. Their key cutters having some problems before but now it is all fixed. Bring the key back for a review. It seems like the person who cut the key messed up but claiming the there is a problem with the blank key. They did not call back when requested giving me runaround with something I do not have any control over. Should have never gone there. The place is located in Buffalo Grove, on Dundee Road. Do not go there as they are not ethical people. Attached is the photo of how they messes up the key. Really unethical owner, the Jason....

Liars and crooked business people. Took Ron, the owner, almost a whole week to re key my home locks. He lost a piece to the top bolt and had to run home to get a new one but never returned that day, as promised. Our house door lock had an empty hole in it this entire time. Never heard back from him for 4 days until I called, to which he said he called several times and stopped by. No note left and no record of him calling me both on my caller IDs or even my cell phone records. Promised to come the next day but failed to make that appointment. Finally came 6 days later and charged me $120, full price. When we asked for some sort of discount, his response was 'absolutely not'. We could have bought an entirely new lock set at Home Depot or some other big box retailer for a fraction of the cost but we chose to support a local small business. What a mistake that was, in this instance. Consumer BEWARE of Ron and this business. They lie, deliver terrible service and deliver even worse costumer service. We called Square Credit Card Payment Services and logged a poor review with them, as well, and we will log poor reviews of them anywhere we can to protect others from falling victim to them, the way we did. What a terrible experience and how sad it is to run a business this way. Find another locksmith!CONSUMER BEWARE!

Jason and his team did a fantastic job with my emergency while I was in town visiting my family. While eating at Portillo's, we realized that my cousin left his key's in his car and had ultimately locked us out. The installer was late and lied. I had lock to use as replacement and he said that it was a wrong size, charged me $70 for the new lock. The lock I had was just fine as it turns out, it was an adjustable lock and he didn't use it, charged me lots for his. For $70 you can get a much better programmable lock. If company representatives lie and misinform you just because you are in an unfortunate situation, this is not a good business. Pick another locksmith.

Well to start.... the lady who runs this place smells horribly of alcohol! Made a key for me and was the wrong key! Didnt work at all! While paying she states that if it doesnt work then will refund my money minus the cost of the key which was fine by me.... but when i returned 15mins later and explained that this is the wrong key blank and doesnt work. She instantly forgot that she stated she would refund my money.... long story short they basically stole my money and didnt refund a damn pennie!!! Probably using my money for more booze..... dont worry a couple false calls will at least make your company lose out on the money you stole from!
