This place is awesome! I needed to replace the two locks on my front door and they took care of me with a no BS straight forward explanation of my options. They are very competitive with pricing to the big box stores, but the service is where they stand head and shoulders above the rest. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Great work!!

Had a pistol gun case I lost the key for. Not that expensive but i didn't want to spend $25.00 again when I was just missing a $1.00 key. To my surprise they stocked the same case lock. They replaced the lock in minutes. Gave me a great price about $15 dollars less than a new one and save me gas and time to drive to Cabela's. Very friendly staff

They made a bad day good again! I broke the key off in the door of my sprinter. I was lucky to get the key out. Called the dealer and was told I would have to wait a week and tow the truck to them. Called Action lock and spoke with Mike. 10 minutes later I have a key in my hand at a fourth of the price it would of cost at dealer. I handed Mike two prices of a key and he cut a perfect replacement. Total class place. 10/10

Action is the best locksmith in the burbs for sure. They are competent, knowledgeable, friendly, professional etc.I have been using them for the past 20 years and will continue for as long as possible. Don't trust your locks to anyone else.

In September 2018 sold me and installed a $324 lock for the back door of my small business that only has 4 people using it M-F. Lock system jammed in May 2019 (not even 8 months later) without any damage done to lock in any way. Service person came out and fixed in 10 minutes without having to replace any parts. Informed me some parts may have needed to be tightened in lock. Then presented me with $155 bill ($90 labor + $65 service call). When I called Action's office in regards to the $155 for repair on a new lock less than 8 months old and talked to manager he said 'installations are only warranted by us for 3 months'. Told me I owe them the full $155. On a new lock less than 8 months old that had no damage done to it by us and/or no damage that they could find in the lock. Pretty bad customer service.

I have been coming to this place for about 26 years. Thankfully, I don't need its services more than once every few years. But whenever I do, I always think of Action Lock and Key first. My last experience is much like other visits. I have a little crisis, and one of the guys performs magic. My last visit, I had a key break off in half. Part of the key was stuck inside my motorcycle locking gas cap. The key was removed, and somehow, a new key was made from it. Service is great, the guys behind the counter are awesome, and prices are very fair.
