Drove from South Bend IN before leaving checked store hours on Saturday so I didn't waste my time! Went to location during the hours their website indicated they were open that day...but parking lot was empty? Called the # on the door. Person told me that the hours on the internet was wrong and when he gets to it he'll change it! Told me to call back on Monday and make an appointment? REALLY!? All I need it was a remote to unlock my doors for a Chevy truck! Was very disappointed because I drove so far and they were recommended to go to by the person I bought the truck from. When to Transport City in Bridgeview Illinois on Harlem Avenue 72nd excellent service very nice took 2 minutes for them to program a key lock for my truck and I was out of there on my way back home.

Scott from Cheap Key Locksmith was great from beginning until the end. Scott first came out and rekeyed my front door and garage entry door which as Schlage at a very great price. I advised him that I wanted my new Pella storm door to also be rekeyed to Schlage. Scott informed me that I have a quickset lock and he would order me a Schlage Lockset. Scott returned a few days later and the lockset he had wouldnt fit and he did not charge me any service fee due to the error. I then reached out to Pella directly and they sent me a Schlage lock. Scott came out again and the hex screws were lock tighted so hard he could not unscrew them. Again no charge for the service visit. And yesterday I finally receive my replacement Schlage core from Pella. Scott came back out again and was able to install it without any issues. I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Scott for his professionalism. Scott could of blown me off very easily, but he didnt and he fixed the issue. Not only did he fix my storm door core he ended up only charging me a very small fee, due to all my troubles. If you ever need a locksmith Scott at Cheap Key Locksmith will be my only call in the future. Highly Recommend.

Literally just had an interaction with this company. My Mazda OEM key malfunctioned, causing my car to not start. The polite and professional craftsmen at this company came on such short notice and programmed a new key for me, for MUCH less than a dealership would quote you for.
