Went in today to buy a pair of frame hooks and watched at least four shoppers without masks wandering around. Told cashier, who looked mortified and apologetic but told me she wasn't allowed to enforce masks. Even with the state order in effect. Even though Gassers has 'essential' status and did more business in the past 3 months than EVER, thanks to Covid. So screw these guys, I'm going back to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is evil too, but at least they want their customers alive. Customer for life lost, Gassers. One freaking star, only because i cant leave zero.

Above and beyond customer service! Always friendly and willing to help without being pushy. Went in a couple of weeks ago looking for a shipping box. They said they didn't carry any but said they might have some boxes laying around in the back. She asked me the measurements and returned with a box almost exactly like the size I needed. She didn't have to go out of her like that, but she did. It's the little things and Gassers is always great at that!

Manager is great. Rest of the staff is great. If they don't have something, they can order it or give you good advice on where to get it. Bought many of my fruit trees, starts, and garden tools here. It's the first place I stop for most of my hardware needs as a resident of Galena.

A well stocked hardware store. They are good at helping show you the general area where you will find what you want, but the staff will then go back to whatever it is they were doing. Expect prices to be a little higher than big box stores.
