I manage a bar and we had an old safe that we couldnt get open. I made one call, on a Saturday afternoon, and the gentleman took me through the process and we finally got it open. He was very patient and didnt ask for a dime. Kuddos to this gentleman! We will return the kindness to someone else. Highly recommended!!

Great lock shop. I live out of state and bought 2 abandoned properties. I called like 10 locksmiths and no one would touch this because the building was slightly boarded up.So, I sent proof that I own them and they were able to fix both within only a few days at a reasonable price.Thanks!

Never needed a locksmith before, but I broke the transponder chip on my only car key. He was able to make me a new one and program it right there at my apartment. Very happy with quick and diligent service. I didn't catch his name, but the young man who helped me was extremely polite, helpful, and friendly. If I need a locksmith again they will definitely be the first I call and the first I'd recommend to a friend or family.

Wonderful compassionate experience. Caleb was very nice and professional. He introduced himself and apologized for the wait time. He had 1 person before me. He had the door open quickly. Once the door was opened, cartoon characters quickly dashed by him, glad to be inside. The smallest hugged him and said thank you. Caleb informed me of the location of the lock shop and let me know I can have keys made there. I will be going there tomorrow to get keys made for my family do that we don't go through this again. Thank you Lock Shop.

Had my second FOB programed ($40) and key cut ($25) for my 2019 Mustang GT. It was giving them fits at first and didn't want to program, but they tried some work-arounds and got it done. Great work and reasonable prices.

I lost my Motorcycle key and needed and had no spares. They did everything they could with me taking them my saddlebags to save me money. They ended up having to come to my house to make the key from my ignition. Goes to show they aren't all about the money. They are all about their customers. Happy to have my bike back without having to buy a new ignition, gas cap, bag locks, seat lock, and helmet lock. Thanks for putting up with all my calls. lol Your customers service was excellent.

I am so impressed with the quality of service that The Lock shop offers! I ran into a problem with my cars ignition last week. I contacted the dealership and made an appointment but was unable to get my car to the shop because it wouldnt start. After some googling I stumbled upon The Lock Shop. My husband called and told them what our problem was and they suggested bringing in my keys to see if they were the cause of my problem. After arriving I was given the best customer service I have ever experienced. Not only did they work meticulously on my problem, but Dan also drove to my house twice to try the key in my car. After deciding that the culprit was not the key, but the ignition switch he gave me a quote to repair the switch and handed me the keys with no charge. Later when I brought the switch in they had it fixed within 24 hours and charged a fraction of what I would have paid at the dealership. They also gave great recommendations on how to save money on replacing my broken key fob. Thank you to Dan and the other fellas at The Lock Shop!

About 20 minutes later, I actually ended up getting into our house on my own and called Dan to tell him that we didnt need him. Dropped my only set of keys in the creek late at night. I called The Lock Shop and even though it was very late (and pouring rain), Caleb made the trip to my truck and helped me out. I would recommend him 10/10. If it ever happens again he will be the first person I call. Caleb was very nice, got the job done very quickly. Excellent customer service. He knows what he is doing. Accidentally locked out of the house after hours. The guy that arrived tried all three exterior doors to get in and could not. Decided to drill the lock. Broke all of the bits he had on the lock. The neighbor loaned their bits and tools - and the guy broke the neighbors bit as well. While drilling the drill popped off the lock twice and left gouges on the metal door. After finally getting in they put on a new lock, but could not key it to the other doors at that time. Said he would come back the next day and do that. After making arrangements for someone to be here for the re-keying, and supplying additional keys (I asked for 12 additional keys) they were a no show. Said the boss sent him somewhere else and he could not get to it. Finally came the day after to re-key. Since I asked for 12 keys you would think he would bring 12, but no, that was too hard. Only made 6 keys. Went elsewhere to get the rest of the keys remade. There was no compensation offered by the company for the neighbors tools that they broke, no apology for not showing up when they said they would the next day, and no apology for the lack of requested keys that were made. There was also no mention of the damage to the door. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I made an appointment to have a key programmed for my truck. They were very kind and got me scheduled in right away with a reasonable price. Fortunately for me, I found my keys and called them back to cancel my appointment. They guy was very nice and understanding when I canceled the appointment. I still plan on taking my spare I had made in to them to have it programmed. I will update this when I do.

A week ago in town from another city for a dance competition, a dance mom locked her keys in the trunk and Caleb came to the rescue. In just a matter of minutes we were in the car and got the keys out of the trunk. Calebs speedy service allowed us to make it to see our kids performance . Calebs service is highly recommended.

I called in at around 8:30 and got Caleb on the phone. He was extremely professional and polite and gave me a time frame of 20 minutes. At around 22 minutes after our call he was there and had my door open in just a few minutes. I'd recommend the lock shop to anyone who makes the same mistake I did of locking their keys in their work van. Totally worth the $85 I spent!

Best place in peoria for lock issues!Our key fob broke and we did not want to pay the insane price the dealer wanted for a new one. We decided to get certified ones off amazon and when here. Caleb when above and beyond with excellent customer service getting our 2 new key fobs programed and making sure our previous one (that was working) still worked. He even cut the new key free of charge when normally its $1!!! We would never go anywhere else! Thank you so much for quick, friendly and amazing service! We have been telling everyone.

I have called this locksmith on 2 separate occasions but never received an answer on the telephone or even a call back afterward. On both occasions I was locked out of my apartment late in the night (early mornings.) Both attempts to reach this company went unanswered and had to rely on another locksmith to gain access. This shop may work during the day, but don't expect them to answer your calls after regular business hours.

Dan is a great guy. I definitely recommend him. I called asking if he could re-key my house the same day. He squeezed me into his schedule only to find my locks were self reset. He told me what I needed to do to reset the locks and did not charge me for the house call. Great to work with such an honest guy.

I had a very positive experience with The Lock Shop. I could not find my car keys. Spent the entire morning searching to no avail so decided they had to be in the car although I could not see them. I had purchased the car used a few years back and had a duplicate key made at the hardware store. It worked in the ignition, but I unfortunately did not try it in the door lock at that time. It would not unlock the door. I live a ways from Peoria, but the Lock Shop made it to my driveway very promptly after calling them. The technician got the door open and there were the keys on the floor between the seat and the door. They had fallen out of my purse because I had not zipped it. I had told the gentlemen about the replacement key not working in the door, and he was so accommodating he made me a key right then that works in my car door. I truly appreciated how helpful he was.
