Programmed and cut a much newer car key! They made sure it worked on the car and it did so flawlessly! It was very cold probably low 20s in temp and the effort and quality was very much appreciated given the tech was working on my car outside!! Highly recommend.

I came into the store to get a quote about how much it would cost to replace a mailbox key. The man helping me said it would be at least $15 but that he could get me a whole new lock for cheaper. I was all in and I ask if it would helpful to see the mailbox. He said yes. When I returned from my car a different employee took the mailbox and started working on it to try and find a lock that would fit. When he came out he told me the lock was $10 and the service was $10 since he installed it. I obviously was shocked because the first guy said it would be cheaper than just getting a key. I was also surprised because no service charge was listed anywhere in the store, nor did I ask him to install it. I asked if we could negotiate the service fee since I wasnt notified and the first gentleman told me it would be cheaper than just getting a key. He responded by saying that it wasnt a conversation with him and that he could take the lock off and just charge me for the lock. While I ended up buying the lock, I definitely installed it myself. This man was very rude and petty. Little did he know, Im in the process of buying a multi-unit investment property. All the locks need to be replaced and I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE! ! Hope that $10 service charge was really worth it because they could have made a lot more. STAY AWAY if you value customer service.

Better not go to this place. There was a guy in the shop who didnt help me. He told me to leave the store because I said to reduce some price. I am a customer and I have a right to ask as many questions I got. I would have been to court but I dont wanna make that big deal out of it. If I was a boss and I saw my worker being rude to customer, I would fire him instantly. I wont even waste a minute firing him. Better dont go to this place if you are the guy with some questions or concerns. Because he is gonna tell you to leave the store

I called Rite Lock and Safe today thinking I needed to have the lock on my front door replaced. The person I spoke with suggested to first try lubricating the lock to see if that solved the problem. Worked like a charm. I appreciate the fact that they gave me some free advice rather than insist on coming out and then charging me for a service call. Thanks much.

Went in to the shop today thinking I was going to get a key cut, I walked out with a newly programmed key! Don, the gentlemen who was helping me out, was able to swap out my old chip into my new key and save me TONS of money! Made my day! He even personally came out to my car to check if everything was working properly. I highly recommend this place for it's amazing work, and just as much for its high quality customer service!!(I do not believe this place programs keys for the record, he just assisted in replacing the chip from the old one to the new, but still very helpful nevertheless)

Owner Les, and his entire staff, are always friendly and helpful. In addition to standard locksmith services, they have an amazing selection of safes on-site. But the best thing they offer are car keys!! The new expensive fobs specifically. If you lose and need to replace one do NOT go to the auto dealer and spend $250-$350. Rite Lock does them for half the price. Tell Les I say hi!!

Steven is the man! I went to a few places to get my jobox open, they reccomended to replace the whole lock. This guy opened and fixed both locks in 5 minutes flat.

That locksmith guy is rudest person I have ever seen. I was standing in his shop and a guy asked him some questions he was so rude to that guy, he said he wont do any work for them and just because they asked some questions about the price and he told them to get out. Thats so unfair if he did the same thing to me I would have gone to court. I thought of calling police for the guys but they left.

I like it because They are closed to home. But they charged me $40 to duplicate a Lexus rx300 key. I bought it at Amazon and took the uncut blade to this store and suddenly they increased the price from $30 to $40.
