I was at the dealership getting repairs for 2 recalls. One of my keys had stopped working. I replaced the battery & it still wasnt working. I was told the battery was good, but I needed another key transmitter, $303 & $80 to program. I called AAA & they suggested Keyway. I called & was quoted $229 total, so I went there. Ben opened my key & told me the battery was installed incorrectly. He flipped the battery & it worked. He didnt charge a cent! Bens honesty saved me $229. I did contact service manager at dealership who profusely apologized & gave me a free oil change. He said he would talk to mechanic when he returned from lunch.

Went in earlier today with my dad to get a replacement key for our Toyota corolla. I do not remember the name of the gentleman who helped us out, but he was very helpful and had us out the door with a new key in less than 15 minutes. Great service and quality. Definitely would come back.

Top notch service! I had lost my last key to my car. A serviceman was at my place within 90 minutes of my call. They were in my car seconds after showing up. They handed me two keys 15 minutes later. The price was half the quote from the dealer, which required the added inconvenience and cost of a tow to the dealership and a wait for the key order. I locked my keys in my car over a year ago and it took the guy about 20 minutes to unlock my car. I should have called these guys. I couldn't recommend this company more!

We are very happy to have found Keyway! We have multiple work vehicles that needed keys cut and programed, and Keyway took care of us quickly and for an extremely reasonable price. We have since had multiple other keys cut here. Highly recommend for both business and personal use!

So happy I found this place! My car never came with a second key fob so I recently decided to purchase a new one. The Dealership wanted nearly $300 for a replacement! I was able to find a key fob online for $15 and then took it into Keyway to get it programmed and the key inside cut. Ebony was extremely friendly and quoted me over the phone and Ron took care of me when I took it in the next day. Whole process might've taken 5 minutes at most. Would definitely recommend if you need to program your remote or cut a replacement car key.

Great service! Steve was the best! Our truck was stolen and needed new keys, Steve clearly and carefully explained everything to me. He really took the time to answer my questions that I had. I asked a question via Google on the weekend and he responded with information that I needed. This place is a total rip off, the guys good at talking and convincing you hes helping you out and giving you a good price, He wanted $45 to program 1 key and said you gotta pay me if it works or not gotta pay him both ways. I said give me a min Im gonna call Honda and see what the charge and he was like theyll want like $200 trust me man I know. Honda said $70 and that my key that works now will lose its programming if I program a new key. The guy didnt tell me that so he was planning to rip me off. Got to Honda, got 3 keys ( 2 I had 1 new one) all for $113.76 with tax. ; The guy before me at this place he wanted to charge him $250 for a 04 Lexus key to a 60-70 year old man. This guy has no shame. The old guy didnt know better so he went for his tricks. Ill give him that hes good at talking and convincing you hes giving you a deal while hes ripping you off.

Was recommended to them by my mechanic. I was looking to get a remote keyfob for a used car we bought. At first, the car would not go into programming mode. These guys would not give up and eventually found a way to program it even though my car was a bit screwed up. Price was very reasonable, but more importantly, the service was extraordinary. I would recommend them to everyone.

I was hoping that I would be able to get a replacement key for my Caravan( my son had used it to scratch his name into a rock at Starved Rock St.Pk) and I wandered into the Villa Park location. The gentleman working there( George, I think his name was, great guy) was VERY knowledgable and helpful with my dilemma. He must have ran out to my car more than a few times( on the first real cold day in November, 2017) and said he wanted to make sure he had the right numbers. It might have taken an hour or so but he made and programmed two keys for me and have had no problems with them. Highly recommended!

No one was in a hurry. Gave me the wrong entry lock. Went to return and was told that because I had lost the key he could not take it back. The rest of the screws and plates were not even opened. I thought they make keys there. Not friendly but if you ask the owner about himself he will tell you how great he is. If i could give negative stars I would. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF HERE!

Jake came out and gave me an estimate for the door closer at my office. He was very professional when explaining to me what the issue with the door closer was and where it should be positioned and was not. The whole thing needed to be replaced. He came out and replaced it a few days later when we were in the office an within a half hour of him getting there everything was fixed and working properly. Thank you Jake!!!!

Guy at counter didnt look to bright when i told him another employee gave a cheaper price days before . Found Dupage Lock Solutions in Addison. They took care of it for $20. Office set up appointment for 4 to 5 pm on Saturday. I was busy and did not receive the call at 1 from the technician saying he could arrive earlier. The technician lives in Lake Zurich and the call was for Elmhurst. I called about 5 to see where there were. Response was he was in Lake Zurich. Wanted to reschedule for Monday. Sorry I do not revolve around technicians time frame and had a time set up. Not only that his technician is too far to service Elmhurst. Very poor service will not ever call again and I will blacklist this company.

Forgot going anywhere else. I was denied by 3 other locksmiths because they couldn't,copy the key to my 2013 ford. Jake was a wealth of knowledge and explained that the other locksmiths simply cloned the key. A+ wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

Own a 2008 Ford Escape XLT. Dealer wanted $199 for programming and $89 for transponder that I lost. So, I used my backup transponder to find match on EBay (took 5 minutes and cost $24 for used item with free shipping - used MidAtlantic Lock Smith on EBay). 3 days later when transponder arrived, I brought to KeyWay and the people there were great. Told me it would cost $65 to program and if it didn't work they would credit me on the purchase of a new transponder. Sounded good to me. And 15 minutes later I had a working transponder and drove away very pleased. I highly recommend these folks.
