I had an odd situation where my detached garage door was broken - inoperable and unopenable - and I do not have a side/service door. I called Suburban Lock and they had a technician at my house within a half hour. My technician, Johnny, went above and beyond. Not only did he figure out how to use the tiny keyhole at the top of my garage door that pulls out to release the door, he then spent a good amount of time trying to help me figure out how/why the garage door was not working. He spent far more time than need be helping me - not to mention the weather was single digits. Very appreciative of Johnny, his work ethic, and Suburban Locks customer service.

Larry and his employees (Tom D) are truly amazing! I called for service in the morning and less than a half hour Tom was out and opened the door on my garage within 5 minutes. Not only was Tom helpful but he was so sweet and happy. I will only use Suburban in the future (well hopefully not - no offense) but if I need a locksmith this is the only company I will ever use. I typically do not leave reviews however Larry, Tom and Suburban deserve the most amazing review! Please do not be fooled by other companies. I called so many people today who could not give me an amount over the phone. If a company knows what theyre doing they can. Larry knew exactly what I needed and gave me a price. Suburban is the most amazing locksmith company as well as honest and EXTREMELY reasonable! When Tom was leaving I commented because he seemed so happy and I said Larry must be a good to him that hes so happy. Tom said that hes very happy with his job and his boss and is treated very well. Thank you all for a job well done! I pray many blessings to you all!

I went there because were recommended to me. I needed to have two keys cut( I had the 2 blanks). The key fits in my remote as an emergency door key. They told me that they would not cut them because I didnt get them there. I told him that I would use their blanks then. He went for the blanks to cut the keys and they were regular keys that do not fit the remote. He proceeds to tell be oh well go to the dealer. I have herd from other that they have had the same problem. Its not like we werent going to pay them for cutting the keys.

I went there today to get 2 keys cut for my father's car. It is a 2000 GM with a pass key system and I bought the keys on the internet. I was not looking for anything free, just cut the keys.I get the guy behind the counter and listened to all the why he can'ts.5 mins later I am walking out the door with keys uncut.Wait, wasn't this a locksmith, I thought they did this stuff as part of their job?

Steve, most lock-smiths can't/will-not cut GM keys or any type of car keys; that's in the responsibility of the actual GM manufacturer or service department. Each key has a specific-unique number assigned to its car, any lock-smith would have told you that and I'm sure as professional as these guys are, they did. I've been shopping at this place for years and never had an issue, you should have just acknowledged the fact that they tried to help you out instead of slashing their name.

Wow! couldn't cut a GM key. The key they made locked up my security system. They had no idea why my key wouldn't work either once the security system locked the car down. Real dumb. Wanted to charge me for another key to try because they could not figure out which blank to use.

Did a Lousy job on my condominium building doors had to call them again the second time because they didnt do it correctly the first time a month later I had another issue I call them to Rectify and fix it they want more money and have excuses to get more money from you ... they wouldnt want to fix what they were pad for and want more money to fix it again !! Sorry boss that not how we do business here in Naperville at least
