Quality service and was able to explain the importance of the repairs I needed and gave me a future mantanice plan to help keep my car on the road and outta the shop for expensive repairs. Plus they towed my car to the shop which comes with a complementary vehicle inspection! Replaced my starter and had me back on the road the very next day! Will definitely recommend them!

I highly recommend Max and this company. Nobody is having a good day when their car breaks down. He was professional, yet personable. Hooked my car up fast and drove me to the sticks. I had my vehicle worked on at Stryker and can safely say it's been the best automotive service I've ever received. After getting some news about my vehicle that seemed off, I felt it was best to get a second opinion. I asked around on social media and noticed that Stryker was overwhelmingly a lot of peoples favorites. Turns out the chain shop I had been to was both dishonest in what was wrong with my vehicle-what they claimed needed to be replaced was just a few months old-while also ignoring some very serious issues that they either missed or thought to put off until later. I was also quoted an extremely high amount for just the two items that are usually the cheapest to replace as well as for a job that only two tires required while the other two were fine. So at Stryker, I had all the issues of concern fixed, as well as some I didn't yet know about, repaired and for twice the work it cost about three fourths the amount. It took almost a week but they kept working to figure it out. The specifics of the work and what they did for me, I highly doubt any other place I've been to would have done the same. I was about to start a job that involved medical transportation, and right now more then ever, having a vehicle was important. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to accept that job or perform it. So I consider Stryker responsible for putting me in a position to obtain a job that helps others and in turn basically spared me a great deal of suffering and who knows what else during these uncertain times. I only wish I had come here sooner!

Short version: Not the place for fast service, and more pricey then other places in the area. Unsure of the quality of service (Edit to say that quality of service/repairs was disappointing)Long version:The guys all seemed super great, especially Will. But the service could have been better. Not the place for fast service!! I was told it would take one day. After that I was told a couple of other times that it would ready on a certain day, and it was not. After the second delay, Max promised it would be done on the next Monday, and it was not. All in all, it took 4 or 5 days. I was told the delays were due to problems with the part(s) received from the vendor. I was also initially that a ticking noise was due to the beltabelt tensioner needing to be replaced. However, after they replaced it I've still heard the ticking. I'm not sure if I was told wrong at the start, if the repair wasn't done well, or if it's something else. I would have them look at it again, but I'm wary of not getting my car back for days on end. Can also confirm the trouble starting is still occurring/was not fixed with their repairs.Lastly, compared to other mechanics in the area their prices are on the higher side, which I wouldn't mind if the service also felt as though it was on that level.However it was not all bad, hence the 2 stars. To their credit, they do a great job of explaining the repairs that are needed. They also did keep me updated fairly regularly. And as I said earlier, they all seem like legitimately nice people. Edit: I should also mention that they eventually got a more expensive part from a different vendor and didn't charge me the price difference.And in case you're interested: the repairs including replacing a radiator hose, engine oil cooler and belt tensioner.

Hi my name is Isaac Romans, and the least I can do is write a great review for Stryker Repair. I was assisted by the manager/worker of the store (Max) when my tire was flat. I recently spent a large portion of money I had saved up from work for my car before coming back to town from thanksgiving. With my luck I got a flat tire when pulling into my driveway the day I got into town. I called Stryker, and Max was able to help me immediately in the freezing cold, and truly work a miracle for me, restoring my recently popped tire and putting on my spare. I thank God for such generous people in this world like Max, i truly was blessed to meet such a great guy, and once again I appreciate what you did for me. I highly recommend this company

Gave them a call over the Labor Day weekend. Max called back almost immediately and gave me a reasonable time frame. My car was on the 4th floor of the parking garage which has a low ceiling. In the process of getting my car down he was actually able to roll start it. Ended up not charging me anything and even gave me a follow up call to make sure I got it home. Amazing service!

They are exceptional! I had to pull over off the road in order to put my temporary tire on due to having a flat tire. I literally pulled into their parking lot. They came over and helped put the donut on for me. I then returned on the next working business day and they made sure to help me out. Sadly, I did have some other issues with the front end of my car due to parts needing to be replaced; but they made sure to let me know what was wrong and how to remedy that situation. Their prices are really good and if I could give more than 5 stars; I would in a heartbeat! I will definitely be recommending them to all my family and co-workers whenever someone needs a mechanic or even a tow. I think I found my new auto shop and I couldn't be happier! Helped tow my car to Royal on the Eastside for repair. Excellent service. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest too. It was no fun to have to get the car towed, but the pleasant experience with Stryker sure helped lessen the pain. Highly recommended. (PS. Also offered the convenience to email the receipt. Insurance took the emailed receipt with no problem.)

Alright, this guy runs the most helpful and accomodating towing service I have EVER seen. Busy as heck and still carved a hour out of his day to help me out. Huge thanks to Max at Stryker Towing. If you're ever in need, you need to call him first. His price beat out 3 other companies I have used in the past for the same towing distance. I had a very poor experience. I was lied to twice by Max about when my vehicle would be looked at and I had to be the one to call and check the progress. He knew I was from out of town and was in a time sensitive situation. They replaced my battery and did not reinstall the metal guard that holds the battery in place. The service manager uses sarcasm to in a passive aggressive manner. Won't recommend. Won't go back.

Max was wonderful! I had locked my car with my dog in the back seat while I ran in to my work to get my phone out of my locker, not realizing I had dropped my keys in the passenger front seat. The first place I called didnt answer and I saw that Stryker Towing had 5 stars rating so I called and spoke to Max. He came and had the car open quickly and gave me a break on the price because of my dog being locked in it. He also gave me some good advice on who to call for alignments and what services his company offers. He deserves recognition for great customer service and a caring attitude. My Ford Fusion's power steering locked up on a Saturday afternoon 20 miles north of Bloomington on my way down from Chicago, which rendered the vehicle unsafe to drive. Stryker was the only repair shop nearby that was available 24/7. The owner, Max, was able to run a diagnostic test on my Fusion that evening and was very responsive through the whole process. It was ultimately found that the power steering issue was residual from a hit & run incident, which my vehicle was recently repaired for. In the end, my insurance ended up covering the whole repair and Max made sure that my car get the appropriate parts.If you're in a bind or are just looking for a trustworthy mechanic, Max and the rest of the Stryker team are your guys! You'll get knowledgeable, detailed explanations of the issues at hand and immediate feedback throughout the process.

Today an elderly couple had problems with their car. Striker towing came out and waited with them until their son came. Max was the driver sent out and he was so patient and kind. Max was able to get the car started and helped them in their way. Great company and employee!!!

I stopped doing business with Stryker Towing & Repair in late 2021 but still deserves a review: I had been warned not to do business with Stryker Towing & Repair but had not had a bad experience during those few years until mid 2019. My car had broken down beyond repair but had another car that needed a lot of work so he towed it to his shop after being in my garage for 1.5 years. A day or two later, he said it needed about $2,000 worth of repair. It was a 1997 vehicle so it wasn't worth the money, so he made me a deal that if I sign it over to him, he would knock off a few hundred dollars off the price of a vehicle he was selling. It sound like a great deal until the engine of the vehicle he sold me started blowing up after 3 weeks in which he blamed my father for "making it worse" by continuing to drive to an auto-parts store a few miles away. The vehicle I signed over to him was going to be scrapped (according to him) but some time later on, my friend found it for sale on Facebook Market. I was out 2 vehicles plus the money on the lemon he sold me and had to buy yet another vehicle because I drive for a living. It was the day I realized what a scumbag and con-artist he really is and how foolish I was for ignoring the warnings about Stryker Towing & Repair and owner's shady business deals. I will never know how much the repair would have been if I had it taken to an honest mechanic. Stryker Towing & Repair gets 0 stars and not a single penny more from me. I have seen a simiIar review elsewhere. I do NOT reccommend Stryker Towing & Repair.
