BEWARE to potential customers, this business left us with an INOPERABLE vehicle today. My husband drove his vehicle here today to get a backup key fob programmed, just in case. The lovely 'serviceman' made it just far enough into the process that he unprogrammed THE ONLY WORKING key fob (this vehicle can only start through the fob, not a physical key). This lovely man tells my husband it must be the fob port on the dashboard and of he'd like to go source one and buy it and have it installed...then he can try to program the fobs. How my husband was supposed to go get parts for his car without use of his car is beyond my comprehension I suppose.I then show up to pick up my husband and asked to speak to the owner, what a funny coincidence it just to happens to be the man I'm already speaking with. And he lets me know that it 'isn't [his] problem.' The result: we paid to have the vehicle towed to a dealership where we'll also have to pay to have their mistake fixed. To me seeing as my husband drove there with a functioning vehicle and key fob and their serviceman handed back a non functioning key fob which left the vehicle inoperable it should be his problem. But I guess that's the choice he got to make. I wish we'd have made a different choice in who we trusted our vehicle with and I hope you do too.*UPDATE*Nissan was unable to reprogram our original fob, because it was FRIED. They were able to reprogram the second fob without replacing the broken slot. They also let us know that the lovely gentleman from JCKS left the car/module in program mode. Once again they continue to claim that no part of handing us back a dead key was their fault, save yourself the hassle of dealing with these lowlifes.

They helped me when I needed it. Have you had the feeling just as you shut your front door, that you don't have your keys? So I did that the other day and promptly called Johnson County key service. They were here within 30 minutes, picked the lock on my front door meet me a couple of new keys and I was on my way. Yeah, and they are even better down at their shop. Give him a call; they have it all.!

This place is Great. I live nearby. When I have extra key's made, (in case I loose them) I take it to them. Takes less than 5 min. In and Out. Just like I like it. I had some extra entry door knobs that I found for my house and the keys did not all work together. I took it in and it took less than 15 min. To make 2 knobs and 2 deadbolts all key the same. Another time I took my disc lock for my inclosed trailer to Low's and Home Depot and Ace. They all told me that they did not have that key. That is the first time I thought to go to Johnson County Key. I got 8 keys made that day. Less than 10 min. Been using them ever since. I am going to buy more disc locks for my trailer (lost the whole lock) I will buy from Johnson County Key. Wait for my next review.
