Almost always have what I need. There's always someone there with a bit of knowledge to help with questions. Very competitive pricing. Cashier seems afraid to say 'I don't know'. I've gotten some made up answers. Look towards the back of the store for technical advice and let the cashier do his thing in the front. All employees, including cashiers, have been friendly and polite. Poor, misdirecting answers are what I expect from Home Depot. I admire people that can admit that they just don't know. That's usually the reason smaller stores earn my business before the box stores.

The best collection and choice of Nuts and Bolts in the area can be found here at this traditional hardware store. Located in the center of Damascus near one of the best High School Football team in the country. If you are looking for good service, hardware you did not find in the bigs stores; Chances are, you'll find them here. My personal experience on multiple occasions is testament to the claim.

Hyatt Hardware is excellent for a hometown quick trip store that is also a full service lumber yard. Variety is nearly what you'd find in a national chain with about a 15% surcharge for the convenience. Well worth it in today's time-strapped society. Get checked out by one of your neighbors or one of the experts. They have good high-school students as well as several long-time as floor employees. If you live near here for any length of time and patronize Hyatt, you'll get to know the friendly folks who work here.

I purchased some hay from Hyatt yesterday, I was told, It is located outside the store and I should pick it up on my way. When I approached the hay noticed sice it was placed outdoor, it's been uncovered in last week rains. The bails were socking wet and impossible to pick up. It's unfortunate that no one bother to come and help.
